This day, unlike yesterday, has pretty much been stellar.  I did find out that something I was really hoping would happen this year or early next isn't, but the project is still very much alive and may happen in the second half of next year, which is fine.

DR Ginny traditionally the family is behind a curtain during the service.  More and more these days the family is out with the rest of the mourners.  My father's was a small graveside service while my father, siblings & a few close relatives were behind the curtain with me for my mother's service.

We are back from the library, the Y, and a condolence call on our neighbor Marilyn.  Her husband died suddenly on Monday.

That's terrible.  My condolences to Marilyn and her family.

George, Jerry Herman didn't write the score to Ben Franklin in Paris. He wrote 2 songs for the show but he didn't write the entire score.

Well, I got to the Metro station and my car wouldn't start.  I had to wait almost an hour for AAA.   The guy said it looked like my alternator was shot.  He said that whenever I used the AC or even put lights on that the battery was draining.  I hope it starts tomorrow morning and evening.  I'll have to take the car to be fixed Friday or Saturday , I guess.

Sneaking in to wish everyone a lovely evening. Been trapped in rehearsals for a sinking ship, and getting tires replaced, when I found two had the rubber separating - never safe.  All is well now.

Kay, back to the sinking ship. Good luck with your collective butt cheeks.

Is it a Jewish one or generic?  Generic than the odds are the family will sit in the front rows.

A rabbi is officiating.

On the phone with Apple to see if we can resolve the slowness of the Internet on this computer - this is all a recent thing, the last week or two and it's driving me crazy.

I think something is hogging up memory or something - that would be a logical assumption, so maybe something got screwy somewhere.
