Still on the phone trying different things, none of which has really made a difference.  Changed DNS servers (or added new ones) but that didn't really change anything - websites are still loading jerkily in certain cases, including this one.  And then we tried You Tube on the Three Friends video, which is less than a minute and he could hear it start and stop and sputter and freeze - a one-minute video should load and play instantly.

I told him I had Chrome but that Chrome was, in certain ways, even slower, including You Tube -

He's talking to a senior tech to see what else we can try.  It's not the memory or anything - we checked that and that's all fine.

That's crazy about YouTube.  No slow-ups or any other difficulties here, on computer or phone.

A beautiful Twelfth of Never, Mr. BK, sir!

I don't think so.  Sounds more like Guy Haines to me.

Good morning, all.

Slept pretty much okay, which is good because I'd gotten a somewhat short sleep the night before.

George, Jerry Herman didn't write the score to Ben Franklin in Paris. He wrote 2 songs for the show but he didn't write the entire score.

Ben Franklin in Paris

Spoo.  I didn't even think about that.  I just went to castalbums.org, did a search and copied some of the shows that were under his name. ::)

Wednesday morning greetings!  A good night's sleep was just what I needed after yesterday's dental procedure.  Today, I get to play in my kitchen, which needs a little rearranging to make room for my new Keurig coffee maker.

Is your Keurig a K-cup or a vue?

Well, I must be off.  I've been at work for far too long, but no more.  I need to do some laundry tonight (I must wash some somewhat delicate underthings ;) ) and I can't start that too late.

Be back later!

In that vein, one could add his three songs for "A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine."

There's a haboob (big dust storm) heading toward the Phoenix area.

:(  Vibes it decreases in size by the time it reaches you!

I'll second that.

The name of the novel is "The Scarlet Letter," not, I would guess, "The Scarlet A."

I was wondering about that one. Hester would not be pleased, I think.

Oh, I thought they were trying to be clever.  You take away a "letter" you are left with The Scarlet _____

Finally found a minute to watch the video of "Three Friends." Beautiful song, and I liked her voice. But were they doing some sort of version of "Merrily We Roll Along" with the name T-shirts?

I was quite slow on the up-take on that one. Might have been the gin last night.

Nothing has helped, really.  In fact, my MacBook Air is loading Internet pages faster - these aren't slow slow but just kind of jerky.  MacBook Air, however, is having the same issues with You Tube.  I'm re-downloading Flash player for the third time this evening.

Good morning.  While Keith works hard replanting plants I have a hike in the mountains planned followed by a trip to the eye doctor.  Drops will be put in my eyes so I'm not sure when I will be back to the computer.

I am glad you specified eye doctor; because you taking a hike, followed by a trip to the doctor was getting to be a habit with you.

Got a lot of work done today, but I feel there are still miles to go before I sleep. Again. This is going to be a long week.

Tomorrow I have another work day from home with a funeral in the morning. (Gee, Ginny, is this contagious?) Mine is for someone at church who was always nice to me and everyone else.

I'm beginning to think a call to Time Warner might be in order, to see if this is on their end or if I maybe need a more current modem - the one I have is at least three years old.
