Yes at least in the EST zone, GASLIGHT will be starting just as we begin ANGEL STREET onstage.  I enjoyed the film much more before I read the play....it is very BUSY with lots of additional stuff and characters....but I guess it was needed to "open it up" for the screen.

The English version with Diana Wynard is on the reverse side of many of the DVD's and it's a bit more faithful to the play, but still quite a slog.....

Everyone be sure to set your DVR tonight for this classic which is showing in the early hours on TCM.

One of my all time favorites, and I have had the privilege of interviewing 3 of the cast members (one of whom BK worked with on stage once, although he may not recall her):

Hi Kate, you must have misunderstood my post. I have not interviewed anyone from GASLIGHT....although, there are some in that film who I would liked to have interviewed.

Been doing school work all day today. And I'm exhausted. And I have miles to go before I sleep tonight.

That is, if I can sleep with all this yerba mate in me.

I saw James Stewart in HARVEY, too, when it toured to Ann Arbor about 1970.  It was an all-star cast that also include Helen Hayes.

You lucky people who saw him perform this on stage.

Belated greetings of the day to everyone!

It's been busyworld here for me. Just finished working and now and committed to seeing a production of Shrek, the Musical tonight. Anyone want to go in my place??  :D

No, I have to go. The man who directed my last show is playing the lead. But what I saw on the Tony's the year Shrek was nominated, made me want to run for the hills.

And oddly enough, right now, the only song that keeps running through my head is, "It's Not Easy being Green".  :P

I wish I had time to find my old playbills....

Missouri Breaks CD arrived!  The few minutes of it I heard in the car sounded fantastic.

(Car CD player's on the blink -- probably only for want of a cleaning disc.  But they're different for car players, and I've only found one which was made by Maxell, and it is somehow totally unavailable.)    (I mean:  totally  unavailable.)

Thanks to those here who voted for Dimitri. He was losing when I posted and he ended up winning by 400 votes. So every vote ended up counting.

Congrats to Dimitri!!

I went outside for a little bit.  There aren't any signs of the birds though I didn't check the nest since I wasn't wearing shoes.

Earlier today Keith showed me the tadpoles in the pond.  While walking down there I saw movement on the ground but didn't realize it had come from the little piece of bark, that is until Keith put his arm across me and blocked me from stepping on the little bitty frog.  Since I was oblivious I was about to step on the frog it is good Keith is strong but gentle.

I need a picture of Bill Orr and his (very lucky) fiancee so I can make them wedding toppers. I don't have any, do you?

Vixter, this is the only one that I have:

I hope that these are the correct people. :)

Thanks!  It's because I save a lot of them as they're posted, and I use the description from the post as the file name.
