Good morning, all! I'm off to Toyland for a meeting/rehearsal with Rob Berman. I believe I'll be there most of the afternoon.

Last night I watched four episodes of the BBC series THE GRAND; I enjoyed much of it, although after a while I got sick of Stephen Moyer's post-war traumatic angst.

DR vixmom, great photos! I wish I'd told you to give them my love; I miss Bill's posting here.

Had a lovely dinner with old friends at Zuni last night, after seeing a show in the afternoon. The food there is as good as I recalled, though the restaurant had curiously lost our reservation (for 8 people), so had to scramble to get us a table together.

DR CHASSMITH posted a program from South Pacific at the War Memorial. I believe he is correct when he said it had to be a local production because THE PARKER PLAYHOUSE is right next to it and that it a professional touring house.

I found an old acting bio the other day and here is a portion of it.

Some of Michael's favorite theater roles have been playing the title roles in "Harvey", "Waiting For Godot", "Susan and God" (God, not Susan) and "Waiting For Lefty".

Parker Playhouse wasn't built till the mid-1960s. I got to a few things there before going away to college. Saw Merman in CALL ME MADAM.

The only other professional touring house I remember was Coconut Grove Playhouse. Loved going down there to see a show.
