TOD:

When will you be writing your next Adriana Book.?

Also, will you be introducing any new characters?

DR elmore3003 - I have that book on my Kindle, but haven't started it yet!

I've just put in a request for it at the NYPL. It's on my Hold list along with

Whatever Happened to Baby Peggy?

an autobiography of the silent screen child star, Baby Peggy, born Diana Serra Cary. This past Saturday we saw one of her movies from 1924

Helen's Babies

The star was Edward Everett Horton and Baby Peggy was one of 2 "babies" in the film.

Baby Peggy

was a huge star but because of questions raised by her father about money and working conditions she was blackballed and never had a bigger career as an actor but she continued in the business as an author and silent film historian and advocate for child actor rights.

You've probably all seen the heartwarming videos of dogs joyously greeting their masters after returning from a long military deployment.

Here is the same scenario, humorously re-imagined for a cat:

Good Morning.  More camp madness today.  If we get this darned show spaced and tech before we open tomorrow night, it will be a small miracle.  It's times like these, I'm glad the kids sound great :)

A radical new take on "I Do, I Do"...
http://www.dcmetrotheaterarts.com/2013/07/24/why-a-same-sex-i-do-i-do-is-important-and-why-it-works-by-director-jack-marshall/

It seems to me the director missed the whole point of the show's being a study of a marriage from beginning to near end.  They should have written their own show rather than take something and cut and paste it to fit their vision.

Perhaps I missed it yesterday, but did anybody come up with the title of that rock musical version of OTHELLO that featured Jerry Lee Lewis at Iago?

Also, who played Othello and Desdemona in that production?

And my week changes again! My friend Dominic, author of LOVERLY, is in town from England, and I will spend Friday visiting with him and his partner.

I still have to get that book. But I also have to finish reading the 12 I've started.

I agree. But I'm not surprised. Having just finished the chapter on this show in the Gower Champion bio, I thought that somebody would be doing this soon. But it's not right.

DR Elmore, be glad you don't live in Phoenix, where the buses come by once per hour (in many places).

What's next?

BK's idea to do an all white version of PORGY AND BESS?

I'm thinking what we need is a color-blind casting version of SHOW BOAT.  Think of it -- Mandy Patinkin singing Old Man River.
