ADO! ADO!

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were much ado about notes, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently thinking there's much ado about moo.

So BK, if you open the new day posts early, why not post your new notes early...are they not yet written?

Just curious.

There's no way for me to change the date like there was with the old thing we used to use.  So, one writes the notes and then schedules them to automatically post just after midnight.  I've done it three or four times now and it works fine.

Jane, that's odd about no download. I went to the link myself and it seems to be available for download. It also does still play at the bottom of the first screen if you click where it says Click play to hear the preview of the song. When you get to the site do you see these instructions on the first screen?

Kinky Boots Review

Song Name: Kinky Boots Review      Times Downloaded: 7
Artist: Ben McLaughlin                   Downloads This Week: 6
Size: 7.8 MB                                Downloaded Today: 7
Uploaded Date: 07/29/2013
Bit Rate: 320 kbps
Download (THIS IS A CLICKABLE BUTTON AT THE SITE)
Last Downloaded: Never

When you click the Download button at this page do you see these instructions?

Kinky Boots Review

Enjoy this Tune

Click the "download" button to download this Tune

Download

Click Here to Upload a Song

The above download link will expire in 2 minutes.

If you don't see those instructions then I'm not sure what's causing the problem.

Perhaps this had something to do with it. I see the message under the "Download" button that says

The above download link will expire in 2 minutes.

Did you wait before you started the download?

I can see that it's been dowloaded and some friends wrote to say they were able to download and listen to it. TuneScoop never said anything about a limit on the number of downloads or a time limit. As I said, though, the segment is still available to listen to at the bottom of the first screen. I clicked on it and it still works. I'll have to monitor the situation and see how it goes.

Here is the link again, outside of the e-mail, perhaps it will work from here.

Kinky Boots TuneScoop

I know not from iTunes (I don't have it on the computer) so I don't have a clue why it won't play on that program but I'm not surprised. As I've stated, rather forcefully at times, I do not care for iTunes. I'm glad I don't have to deal with the idiosyncrasies of the program. At least it plays through my other "favorite" program Real Player.

I'll keep an eye out for problems. When it works it's great. Many friends have e-mailed saying how much easier it is to use TuneScoop but there are inevitable kinks to be worked out.

Good morning, all!  I wish everyone a good start for their week.  I will shortly head down to Toyland. I've got a lot of orchestra parts to print, so I can begin corrections. On my way down, I'll stop at the bank and cash in my jar of coins.

DR George, I saw this and thought of you!

Also must run the AC later.  Haven't had it on since before that cold snap last Wednesday or Thursday.  Haven't needed it for heat, but the mugginess and dampness in the house have taken over.

I watched a wonderful British film last night, THE SCAPEGOAT. It's a remake of a 1959 Bette Davis film, based on a story by Daphne de Maurier. A man walks into a pub and happens upon his doppelganger. I would never have guessed how it plays out. Beautifully done, with lots of nuances.

DR Doug, have you seen this? I believe it was made for TV. Do you know? Anyone else seen it?

DR Jeanne - I see that it was shown on British TV last year but unfortunately I missed it. There's a DVD available so I've added it to my DVD rental list.
