Starting to watch "Baby The Rain Must Fall." Very Horton Foote setup of Texas with the deserted streets and the buses coming through. Great music, but I wonder who did the singing for Steve McQueen.

Speaking of books, with the deal to make that film not happening, I'm putting my experiences in a book - to try to make lemonade from lemons, molehills from mountains.

I decided to try Kickstarter, if it's OK to post it here (drspite my E&T-ness again the past few days) - so that the cost of publishing it won't be "vanity" -

Little prizes from the $10 level to the $50 level.  Wondering if I should add something for $5?

There's a TCM CRUISE coming up in December.

I would love to go!

I bet the movies on that cruise will be excellent.

Are they having any former stars on the cruise?

Jane Powell, Robert Wagner, and Theodore Bikel so far.  More to come.

Has Denzel's coming to Bway in RAISIN IN THE SUN been reported here?

The $3,000 Walter Lee gets will now be spent on four tickets to the play, rather than opening his own business.

Well, I must be going.  A coworker and friend is in an outdoor production of "Julius Caesar."  We pay by donation and we have to bring our own chairs if we don't want to sit on the hard gravel.  I actually remembered to put a chair in my car this morning, so I'm set. :)

Be back later!

Thanks, George and John!

It's shaping up with more pages for the parodies than the actual cases.  At least that's how it looks right now.

BK, I really liked the song, except it reminded me of marriage, but other than that it was very nice.

Long day here, out and about doing stuff.  Too much stuff.  Finally settled down in front of the tube but kept dropping off into dreamland.  Trying to get a second wind going.
