Well, you've read the notes, the notes were fricasseed and chicken, and now it is time for you to post until the fricasseed cows come home.

Interesting that I couldn't put the complete title of today's notes in the discussion board - apparently there is a limit of words.

That is interesting.  Hopefully, the actual Notes title field doesn't have a limit and you can make it as long as you want it. :)

Enjoyed "Second Avenue." And those opening paragraphs in today's notes: Classic Kimmel!      :)

TCB - Thanks for your note.  Intersting thing about Kickstarter rather than just going to family (or even things like borrowing against unreachable money like meager pension funds) to help out - Kickstarter has a side benefit that no one thinks of it as self-dunding if you got the money from others like Kickstarter.

So i figure it's worth a good shot.  if it doesn't come through, i'm also interested in maybe doing a book of just "sing along" parodies -

that might be easier due to an even lower likely budget.  And might be a more unique book in 2013-14 era.  But that's only if this generates no interest.

Good morning, all! Last night's dream was a mashup of ROBERTA anxiety, the Drama Book Shop, and an orange coat with fringe.

This morning, I am off to Toyland, where I hope to finish the fixes for Act One. Rob Berman's workshop of TUCK EVERLASTING is over, and I'm hoping we'll talk today about prep work next week.

TOD:
DVD:  LARKRISE TO CANDLEFORD Season 2
CD:  DEAREST ENEMY, Guy Haines, Dorothy Provine

Greetings from Toyland!

I cannot log onto my email, and I'm wondering if Time Warner, who in an early morning email offered me faster internet for $10 more a month, is slowing down things to make that $10 a necessary item?

Good morning, all.

Happy Friday vibes.

Off to see Spamalot tonight. And too many other plans to keep track of this weekend.

"Friday":  shortened form of the ancient (i.e. older than BK) "Fricasseeday", the day that would cause much rejoicing among the villagers who had eaten very lightly the first four days of the week.

Sorry to hear BK will not make it to Washington.

Is there still a chance of a Metropolitan Room event for the East Coast Singer?

Updike:  what a great idea for audiobook listening.  I would love me some Cheever, too.  Must seek these out.

Cheever is great on audio. The Updike? It's late writings, lean and spare and surprisingly involving.
