I do have the DVD, The Merchant of Venice.

I watched it a few months ago. I know it was good. Maybe we'll watch it again.

Kate, I haven't brought myself to watching Blue Valentine yet. I hear it's a downer like the name seems to imply. So I usually have to work up to those. I really enjoy a lot of that Merchant of Venice.

I used to love building a salad plate consisting of chicken salad, tuna salad, egg salad, potato salad, cole slaw, and a small green salad.

Which, now that I mention it, is sounding pretty good again. But I'm much choosier now about the quality of each one of those things, so sourcing it could be a challenge.

Of course, I'm also given to understand that some people actually make their own...

Regarding Blue Valentine, I know that it is a sad movie. Sometimes though, I think it worth it to sit thru the pain if it makes us think.

I love a movie that affects me emotionally. Yes, I do know what you mean about having to be in the mood for that type of movie.
