Back from scrambled eggs and an English muffin, picking up no packages, banking, and a three-mile jog.  Now I'll relax until people start arriving.

Sounds like the usual excellent radio show.  I do hope that the folks who used to complain that the old technology was hampering and precluding their listening pleasure are now tuning in weekly.  Yes, that is the hope.

Not much of a fan of either Douglas, I'm afraid.

I do like Young Man with a Horn but mostly because of Doris Day.

And I did enjoy Behind the Candelabra.

Saturday morning greetings!  It's a little rainy and I hope it clears up before my lunchtime journey to Fairfield, OH, to see Rob and Mary Linda at their new apartment.

It must be very nice to have them closer to you.  I just wish my children were on the same coast.

Hello everyone and DRKevin,

Just got back from church and going out to eat At Tonys.  Matt our son came over and is giving me guitar lessons.  He is very knowledgeable and I hope to do him proud!

A new cat will come to the store when he is supposed to.  We won't look for one.

This was what I expected you to say.

IMHO it takes a very special cat to be a store cat, and the cat needs a special look for your store.  How did you come by Merlin?  I don't remember though I believe you have mentioned it.

Tomorrow we are going to The Original Pancake House to meet our Son Matt and Daughter/in/law Sarah.

Maybe my brother Rick and niece Chrissy will meet us there!

Just looked in TV Topics.

Dr Zhivago is on at 7:00Pm.  I can't believe I have never seen this movie.

I actually have the DVD (Somewhere).

I saw the musical in San Diego several years ago.  But haven;t seen the movie in a while.

Is it three stars out of five or three stars out of four?

Oh, what a beautiful Kat.  He looks just like my Poe.  Very sorry, DR Jrand62.

He is a beautiful Magickal Kat.  He also looks like my Ebonie. :)

I've had several emails from Dublin today and yesterday from Mary, Chrissie, and Aine, who will play my three couturier ladies, Sidonie the presser, Marie the designer, and Anna (Mme Grandet) the fitter.  I'm glad they're preparing for the recording. Mary was my leading lady on EILEEN, and I look forward to seeing her. Chrissie and Aine had small roles in DEAREST ENEMY.

Aine was also our Biddy Flynn on EILEEN. I'm very fond of her.

I'm very fond of all three of them!

I hadn't even noticed that I'd passed the 29000 mark. Not bad for 9 years!

i don't really have a favorite kirk douglas film.

I was never a particular fan of Kirk Douglas.  But speaking of Kirk, this morning before I got out of bed, I was watching the Classic Arts Showcase channel and they showed THIS dance from the ballet version of "Spartacus" by Khachaturian!  Who knew that there was a ballet?  Not I.

I thought that today was just going to be a quiet day until I had to leave to usher for "Jesus Christ Superstar" (with TCB's friend and mine, Christian, who plays Judas), but my mom asked me to come over to make sure that she didn't do something wrong when she bought the downloaded version of "Bookworm" for my dad's computer.  Hopefully, it'll be easy to figure out. :)
