I don't know if you remember me posting photos of Annalene's baby Harry last year when everyne on the recording fell in love with him. He's now nearly two, just home from hospital, and looking great.  He won't be coming to Dublin this year.

I remember when everyone fell in love with Harry.  He is a cutie.  Should I remember why he was in the hospital?

No, because I never mentioned that he was in hospital. I knew he was hospitalized but I couldn't get Annalene to tell me what was going on. She and Simon had other priorities than my questions so I didn't say anything. I am so happy he's okay.

I'm glad to hear he is fine whatever the problem had been.

Yesterday it seemed the smoke was heading back our way.  It has stayed rather pleasant smoke wise and with comfortable temps so we went into town for an early brunch followed by a leisurely walk around town.

He had his parents quite scared, and I'm happy that he's okay.

I've been watching and listening to Annalene on youtube. Here are two of my favorites:
"I Could Have Danced All Night" (BBC Proms broadcast):

"Like Love" from CHARLIE GIRL:

I swear to you, I am sitting here and literally every ten seconds a spam e-mail appears in the mail box I use for eBay stuff.  I nuke one, ten seconds later another appears.  I think it's time to change the eBay address now to gmail - spam shit does not get through there, not very often - it goes right in the spam folder.

This is a story in Today's SC paper about the ordeal that my cat sitter, Sharon, has been through.  She is the most amazing person I know.  No matter what she's been through, she is happy smiling and upbeat. She really inspires me

She is very inspiring!

and those that follow Doctor Who, Peter Capaldi was presented live around the world today/tomorrow. Peter Capaldi previously appeared on Doctor Who episode in The Fires of Pompeii

I watched the live-around-the-world announcement earlier.  I haven't watched the other shows that Peter Capaldi was in, but I'm looking forward to the new Doctor Who season series in November. ;D

RE: Today's song - love it, and love the rendition.
DR Laura - glad that you found a bug.
DRs elmore3003 and Doug R - thanks for the great photos!
DR Jennifer - you do know that you can adjust the font size on the Kindle, right? That was one of the main selling points, for me.

Yes the book i am talking about is in hardcover, not on my kindle.

I thought you meant on your kindle.  I was surprised the print problems would be with a current book as mine have been with older books.

I have noticed more and more the print in books is smaller, or even worse in a very light print.

Smaller print means less paper needed to print the book.  Lighter print means less ink needed to print the book.  Both means the book costs less money to make, but does it cost YOU less money to buy??  NO! :P

Well, I need to go to Costco and have one of my printer ink cartridges refilled.  It's only $10.  That's less than half of what a new one costs.  Then, I'm off to my sister's house for homemade blueberry muffins.  They sound delish!

Be back later!

Off to dinner with Lidia Bastianich. Too bad I'm still not on my best as far as food goes. I'll probably be done after the first course.

My first public performance was also LI'L ABNER, but in the fall of 1964. That is, if you don't count the fashion show I was in when I was three or four, which I don't.
