Well, you've read the notes, the notes were photographic and appeared on Friday, and now it is time for you to post until the photographic cows come home.

Topic of the Day:

In my DVR and being recorded onto my DVD burner:  "The Student Prince in Old Heidelberg" with Ramon Novarro and Norma Shearer.  It's for my dad.  I've just started it and I'll let it record while I'm asleep...which I'm about to do.

Those were some very nice pictures of the recording session, BK.  Can't wait for the CD to be released!

Good morning, all!

The Big Meeting went very well yesterday, and I think the conductor, producer, and I are all in agreement in what's to be in the next two weeks. I'm still wondering if I will get to Dublin and back alive and in one piece!  I've taken care of the car issue for Sunday, so I've got to plan how best to pack.

Now I have to figure out the logistics of my navigation around laundry, bank, and market for the next two days.

Good morning to all.
I woke up singing songs from Fiorello!
Can't say why, exactly.  I guess I'm just strange that way.

i don't think I can name a song from the show (with the exception of politics and poker) and this is a show that won the pulitzer prize and tony award for best musical!

Lovely photos in the notes!!!

I am tingling with anticipation for the NEW soundtrack - my guess is the same as DR CHAS SMITH's guess yesterday!

And we get to do it again tonight!!!

I was whacked hard in the face during the first number because I was trying to get downstage for a "speech" I have.....my fault....I was out of place....but I was just hoping my hair was still on straight.  That toupee tape is great!

Friday morning greetings!  Waiting for Rob to arrive with their Christmas decorations, which are going to live in our basement for a while.  It's another puttering day for me.

Good morning, all.

Happy Friday vibes.

Didn't sleep well last night. Maybe too much bourbon. Anyway, I finished off Stuart Ostrow's not very good "A Producer's Broadway Journey," a very sloppy overview of musicals from the 1950s to the end of the century. Except he randomly skips over years and shows (no mention of "Ain't Misbehavin'," "Nine," "On the 20th Century," "Pacific Overtures," etc.), so it isn't really an overview at all.

DR SINGDAW....take a small flashlight outside with you.  Watch for a lightning bug to send his signal....figure out his pattern....usually just a few lights.....cup your flashlight in your hand and mimic the signal.....said bug will come and light your hand.....
