TOD:

Meal 1:  My mother's fried chicken, corn and tomato casserole, lima beans and yeast rolls.  A slice of my mom's strawberry cake.

Meal 2: Spaghetti carbonara and white wine.  A much-later in the evening slice of pecan pie.

Meal 3:  Rib-eye or filet mignon, baked potato, green salad.   A slice of my mom's rum cake.

You don't need the HD monitor. I don't have one either. I do have headphones. I think if you have speakers on your PC (laptop or desktop) it will still work. It's just a series of higher and higher hertz sounds. I think they mention using headphones so that you can be assured that you will hear specific sounds. They explain how as we age, for most people, hearing declines and there is little we can do about it because, unlike some other body parts, the minute hairs in our ear drums, which help us hear, don't regenerate when they are damaged or destroyed.

Good morning, all!

I'm headed back to La Jolla for more rehearsals, but I had to pop on to wish everyone a wonderful day.

And I especially wanted to say, BK, what a beautiful song! I may have to borrow that to sing one day.

eBlast went out as always - check your spam folders?  Sometimes we do get bounce backs so maybe a couple didn't get through for whatever reasons, but our usual eBlast folks have been ordering.

singdaw, just checked and your e-mail address showed up as nonexistent in the bounce backs.  Don't know why that happened.  We had an astonishing 350 something undelivered e-mails supposedly for non-existent addresses.  I went through the list and removed about one hundred people I know don't ever buy from us or have different addresses now, but I left the ones that should have gone through.  We'll see how it works for the next title.

Thanks bk - I did check my spam folder first; nothing there. Not sure what happened, but wanted you to be aware, at least, that some of your regular blast recipients do not seem to have gotten the E-mail this time around.

Today I purchased dinnerware to go with my new kitchen wall.

I purchased Artisan style, of course red in color.

It looks great!

Now I guess we'll have to entertain!  LOL

Good morning, all!
We had  a nice rehearsal with Vinny our pianist, Chrissy, Mary, and Aine, our three Couturier ladies, who act as our ladies' chorus and shop assistants. Their trio sounds quite wonderful, and we had a good time running through the dialogue. After rehearsal, Rob and I went for a snack, then he went for a walk, and I came back to the Club to chill out. I was in bed by 7pm and got  about 12 hours sleep. I'm off to breakfast and a postcard run.

Elmore, how great to read your update.  I am glad you are getting enough rest and that things are moving ahead on schedule.  I am keeping good vibes for you.

They're saying the accident at turner Field might not have happened if the guy weren't 6-foot-6.

A legal expert on TV had the attitude that they can't consider every person, it seemed.

On the lighter side, the 16 New Jersey co-workers who won the lottery together who call themselves Ocean's 16 seem like a nice group of people.
