This gal I know posted on Facebook an article from the National Report website that all Arizona schools are implementing a gay to straight conversion program where gay students will be converted to straight students. She was outraged and sharing it all over Facebook, as were others. Now, this gal is, one assumes, reasonably intelligent, but somehow we have devolved into a social networking bunch of idiots, because the article came from a "satire" website and is so obviously "satire" it's not even funny (and it's not, but that's another story). A simple Google search reveals the story as fake. But now it goes from person to person on Facebook and even on the National Report site there are six hundred comments acting as if the story were real. And when finally shown this was fake, the gal said, "Shit, well, glad it's not real. I wouldn't put anything past Arizona." And I wouldn't put anything past this woman's IQ quotient, but she's always doing this - getting on her soapbox about political crap - but obviously she'll believe and post anything.
