Good morning, all!  I am waiting to depart for my MRI. Once it's over, I will come back here and bide my time.

DR TCB, I'm sorry to hear of your drenching yesterday. I hope you do not catch cold from it.

I'll be on a train in a few hours heading out to Long Island for a weekend of relaxation.

I'm listening to City of Angels at the moment.

I have my mp3 player and my reader so the train ride will go quickly (even though it's an hour and 15 minutes).

If I stick to Plan A this morning (which I'd better do; I don't even know what Plan B would be, and maybe I don't want to find out), I shall be twerking down to Redding for one of the annual library book sales I always try to catch.  These days I'm lucky if I find two or three things really worth getting, but it's always good to go and browse through what's there.  Hope reigns eternal.  And internal, when you keep it to yourself.

Elmore, on your list you have a Bishop's Wife score from Friedhofer on your list. I thought Jerome Moross wrote that score. Or did he arrange it?

DRJohnG, Jerome Moross was the orchestrator for THE BISHOP'S WIFE.  U believe he went to Hollywod with his friend Aaron Copland to orchestrate THE HEIRESS, and that he wasn't hired to compose a film score until the 1950s. He wrote the "Little Mermaid" ballet and orchestrations for HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN.

And I am home from the MRI. My doctor will get the results on Tuesday.  It went well. they tell me. After a while my feet went to sleep, and moving and dressing were a bit of an ordeal when it was over.

Vibes for DR Elmore's MRI~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I wish I had had the open one the time I had to get an MRI. IT was torture for me (as I am claustrophobic too). Plus i had a migraine and the noise was very loud for me.

Glad you survived the MRI, DR Elmore!

The only time I've had an MRI was the same day a dear cousin of Richard's was cremated.  I almost lost it and had to go to a happy place (on a boat sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge...)
