I like that my pool is indoors and open all year.  I am not happy that for the second time it is closed for maintenance while Eleanor is here.  I was looking forward to taking her swimming.

We do have indoor pools too. But nothing compares to going to an outdoor pool in the summer.

Luckily today was a sunny and hot day. We ended up staying at the pool for more than 4 hours. We had gotten out when some of my nieces' friends showed up who they don't get to play with that often. And since it was so nice out we stayed.

I have spent the afternoon knitting.  Using the sparkly blue yarn I bought at the shop around the corner from DR Elmore's home, I'm making myself a "potato chip" scarf.
