As I painted Boo's, she posed.  When I moved on to Ricky, she jumped down and walked away.  It was really funny

Can you get each of the kids to pose with their lookalike??

I doubt that's going to happen....I may be able to do it with photos

DR Cillaliz - those critters are adorable!

Also, thank you for reminding me that I definitely need to accomplish some loads of laundry today.

Remember you are washing for one.

Tommy!!!

My next door neighbor just came over -  he has been on vacation for the past two weeks  in going through the mail his house sitter left  for him he came across a misdelivered  letter!

Thank you so very much!!  it will be put to good use  we are planning now for our next trip!!

Thank goodness.  I knew there had to be a good reason.  I hope this is the second check, not the first.  They have stopped payment on the first.  If your neighbor has been gone for two weeks, I assume this is the second check.

Was the address wrong on the envelope??

It took over 3 minutes to post my last post, and I had to change browsers to see if it posted as my screen did nothing in that time.  Anyone else having this issue???

Nope, not me.

I didn't eat that much - most of the food came from Gelson's - I had a tiny bit of salmon, some really good slaw, which I'll now have to buy from Gelson's, a good corn salad and that was about it - not much at all.

Corn salad.  Yum!

DR Kate - I am sure that DR George would be more than happy to crop the photo of you to create an HHW avatar that you could use here.

I would!  Those are very nice pictures, Kate (and Singdaw)!

That would be greatly appreciated George!

Here you go...take your pick:

The easiest thing (I think) would be to save them to your computer (remembering where you saved them) and then upload them to your profile. :)

Even though they're larger than the avatar size, they'll automatically resize.  I think that they'll stay at the correct ratio and look normal...at least, I hope that they will.

I just finished watching "The Doctors Revisited: The Eighth Doctor:  Paul McGann."  I had never seen this on-off episode, nor really heard much about Paul McGann, but it was actually quite enjoyable...in a 1990s kind of way.

The problem with this whole series (and I'm sure that I've said it each time) is that the episodes were originally shot in 4:3 full-frame but for these retrospectives they've stretched out the image to fill a widescreen TV...even the non-hi def broadcast.  That's so stupid!  According to reviews on Amazon, the purchased DVDs give you the option to view the original full-frame version.  I've recorded all eight episodes, so I don't think that I'll buy the DVDs, even for the correct aspect ratio.

The weird thing is that I remember watching and recording episode seven with Sylvester McCoy, but I haven't been able to find that disc, so I just re-recorded it from OnDemand and am now going through both episodes and cutting out the commercials.  Then, I'll reburn episode seven and burn episode eight.  That's probably when I'll find my original disc...after I've reburned it. ;)

Fortunately, the discs are very cheap...only about 30˘ each.
