Well, you've read the notes, the notes were exhausted, and now it is time for you to post until the exhausted cows come home.

I know some video was shot last night, so hopefully I'll be able to post a couple of things tomorrow, along with some photographs.

That would be great, BK!

Regarding On the Twentieth Century...  somewhere I had read that Prince kept nagging Kahn that she wasn't giving a full performance. Finally, at one performance, she went full out - singing, acting, getting all the laughs. Hal came back to her after the performance and said something to the effect of - You got it, that was it, don't change a thing! To which she replied, Surely you don't expect me to to that 8 times a week?

I agree with DR George - hoping that bk will post some video from yesterday's shows. Congratulations to the entire company on two very successful shows!

I had this really weird dream.... Somehow I was working for Dick van Dyke. He was calling Mary Tyler Moore, who was on vacation in Hawaii, but he didn't want to be alone with her on the phone. So he asked me to get on the phone, too. (In the dream it made sense because we were all going to be working together on something). She wasn't initially too warm to my joining them, but I made small talk about Hawaii and kept things moving along. Bizarre!

TOD:

I will be traveling for most of the day. Driving an hour to the airport and then spending two hours or so checking in and going through security. Miami International is one of the busiest airports in the USA and has the only direct/non stop flight this time of year that I need.

I am flying up to Montreal to spend the Jewish New Year with my family. This is strange since we are Roman Catholic.

I am taking my beloved Kismet to spend the week at Pet Hotel where he will sleep and play with many other dogs and on his final day be treated to spa treatment (Shampoo, manicure, teeth brushing, ear cleaning and anal gland cleaning) I've experienced everything except the last item on the list so I know what my dog will enjoy everything.

Now of course I'm not really Roman Catholic, but I wanted people to say Whaaaat??!!

BK

If you can remember can you ask Bob Gitt if he is working on a Blu Ray release of the original Lost Horizon. I would love to see if the last technologies can improve even more on all the wonderful work he has done on the film.

I am intrigued by a quote ad in yesterday's New York Times Book Review. The ad is for a new novel entitled "Alex," by Pierre LeMaitre. One of the quotes reads: ...Makes Lizbeth Salander look like Mary Poppins.     >:(

So much for a good night's beauty sleep - two hours doesn't quite do it, but hopefully I'll fall back asleep at some point.

Good morning, all.

Got a few people coming over later today for a nice low-keyed get-together, so mostly need to continue straightening things up that had recently suffered some crookeding.

We had a quiet day yesterday.  This morning DR Kate and husband and I are meeting our brother and maybe his son and family at the Original Pancake House.
