FJL, I have been enjoying the lyrics lately. I don't think I have mentioned that, but thank you for posting them.

First physical therapy session scheduled for next Monday at 11:15! That's a big weight off my shoulders. I still need someone to change that damned bulb!

Hello Everyone:

 DR BK,

I am so enjoying your Benjamin Kritzer book.  I never laughed so much reading a book.

I love your style of writing.  Never stop!

TOD:

Have you ever considered making Benjamin Kritzer into a movie, or better yet a sitcom?

Thank you, DR ArnoldBrockman! I finally bit the bullet and dragged out the big ladder. That was an ordeal unto itself, but the bulb is now replaced and the ladder back in place. I've been recuperating for the past hour.  The first time I tried it, about two hours, I pulled something in my left leg and as soon as I got off the smaller ladder, I fell straight to the floor. I'm glad I didn't fall off the ladder; that might have been dangerous.

Good late morning, all!

BK, I LOVED seeing the videos, all of them. Great performances by all the girls. Jenna's Dear Mr. Gershwin - is that kid a star or what? And Jane is always amazing.

And I loved hearing the three girls sing Three Friends.

We all survived our first dress rehearsal last night, no thanks to the director. Thankfully, the artisitc director is beginning to sneak his two cents in and it is helping. Now we just have to get rid of the other guy and we can make this into something before it closes.   :D

Amazon has announced the NEXT GENERATION KINDLE.        :)

Interesting.  I'm not going to upgrade, though.  I like what I have and will keep it until it dies...AND it was free.  I got it with points from my debit card.  Free is good!  When I got it, it was called the Kindle 3rd Generation (the hi-def Kindles didn't exist yet), but now it's called the Kindle Keyboard.

I can do With some extra help provide for my DP (Dear Pet). Received a phone call from the pet hotel yesterday. My Kismet was peeing blood. They took him to the vet and he has an infection. Gave home a dose of medicine and pain killers. I had them put him in a suite so he would not be around other dogs and had him not to doggy day camp. I'm so upset that this happened while I'm away

~~~SUPER GET WELL VIBES FOR DP KISMET!!~~~
Did anyone see it in New York?  I know my friend Bryan who is directing the show did....any thoughts on what kind of music was used?
I love Christopher Durang.
Whew!  I've spent the day, with Richard's help, creating a proposed budget for AAUW.  It's now in the hands of the budget committee, which was supposed to meet at our house the evening that Richard went to the ER.  Oh, well, I guess 3 weeks late is better than never...
