I love Sunday in the Park with George, too! Over the years, I've seen quite a few productions of it, but only a single Baby.

Actually, I've also only seen one production of Baby. And only two Sundays (live).

I certainly listen to Baby more than La Cage or Sunday, which is one of my favorite musicals. For me, Baby's problem was that the book lacked the substance of the score. The jokes were kinda sitcom-y and whenever anyone spoke, I just wanted them to shut up and sing. I learned more about the characters from the songs.

Had a tiny thing of Chinese chicken salad from Gelson's - went to get that slaw again and again it was a no show - I got irritated and asked about it and they said they haven't had it all week - it's on hiatus due to the holiday - what that has to do with the price of onions I do not know.

I truly love the score for Baby - every single number in it is just "on." I saw the original Broadway production three times, including the closing performance. Liz Callaway was radiant, as were all the actor/singers. And DR John G. is right about the book. $:-\$
