Good morning, all!  Since my problems are neurological, I seem to have new and different problems whenever I shift my posture. So, last night the sleeping position I've used for the past week stopped working and my left leg was nothing but jangling nerves, no matter how I lay. My only pain-free position was to sit upright with a pillow under my knees. It took a long time to find that position, between portions of the Alison Weir book and attempts to sleep.  So, some time after 12:30, the meds kicked in and I passed out.

This morning, I will try to do some laundry in the basement washers, and I have to walk to the bank to get cash for the weekend.  Right now, the glamorous life ain't so glamorous at all.

TOD:
DVD: I've pulled several I'd like towatch but my mood is not very good at present.
   CD:  same here
   VCR: why bother?

DR Elmore, that "jack-knife" position is often recommended for people with your kind of pain.  Feel better, dear friend!

Thanks, DR MBarnum, so do I!  But I really hate to order 2 of something that expensive online.  I'd rather go through a local retailer, so I'm hoping Alesha at Lyons Lighting is willing to order them for us.

I'm up, I'm up, barely.  Got eight hours, barely.  Not sure if I'll be jogging before lunch or after, barely.

I cannot believe what have just seen - once again my cc has been compromised - unbelievable.  A charge to Ikea of Great Britain for just under one thousand bucks, and a 1.17 charge to somewhere in Louisiana.  Luckily on the Ikea the cretins used an incorrect billing address so that charge, while it showed up, probably won't go through.  The money is already back in my account, the card is shut down, this is now going to wreak havoc with all my online bill-paying until I get the new card and then I have to reset every one of those things - horrible and basically to whomever did this, I wish you nothing but a slow, painful, and immediate death.

Thank goodness I checked.  This is going to make my life hell for a week now, because I will not use my bank cc for anything.  So, I guess I'll now have to get cash to do stuff.

Paypal did tell me of something I'll definitely do when the new card arrives - you can then order a secondary card with a completely different number - you keep that and don't use it and if this happens again, you have the second card to use immediately rather than having to do what I now have to do - wait for ten days.  This effectively takes care of the NY trip I was going to make on the 15th.  I was going to book it this morning but as I said I will not use the Kritzerland cc to book anything anywhere because I don't want THAT card compromised EVER.  So, there's no way to book anything until the new card arrives.  What a pain.

Did anyone catch this week's HOT IN CLEVELAND? Along with regulars Betty White and Georgia Engel, it had guest stars Mary Tyler-Moore, Valerie Harper, and Cloris Leachman. I tell you it was the funniest half hour I have spent in a long, long time!

Cloris Leachman, in particular, was an absolute riot...and this is coming from someone who was never a Cloris Leachman fan!

No jog until later - I'll have to go to the bank shortly and get some cash, I guess.

BK, can't more items these days just be done off a Paypal balance?  or does that take time to put one in?

(Maybe I misunderstood the problem.)

Valerie Harper LAST BLUES SONG dance from the 1970's (poignant, given the lyric, but quite a fun performance)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fK3dtLEVy8

(really dancing, she was in Li"L ABNER, as has been mentioned here)

That's terrible. But the 2nd card sounds like a great idea.
