The dog situation is terrible, and Dee Dee and Alan have my deepest sympathies.

I went to a production of "Oliver!" at Don Bluth's Front Row Theater last night.  I'm glad he is still doing things like this, and it was great to see the effort being made.  It was also great to see a few (only a few) very talented members in the cast.

I saw LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE last night.....a play by a couple of the Ephron girls, mother & daughter, I think.
The actresses were all very good....some outstanding, but the play itself is only fair....with some excellent moments and the rest kind of lackluster.  The ladies in the audience seemed to enjoy it very much.  It's a series of monologs and dialogs about clothes and weddings and men.....

Shocking news about dear Casey.....  People with dogs who do things like this NEVER accept the responsibility.....Judge Judy has a case like this at least once a week....and she always takes the dog owners to task for it...accepting NO excuses.....

I am not a dog person at all, but find the story completely heartbreaking. I definitely would not let this go because the dog could attack another dog or person.

I saw the dvd of THE HOST a few days ago.

For the most part the movie very closely resembles the book.  I really dislike when the movie changes a lot of things. I know for a 2 hour movie that things need to be cut out. But I absolutely prefer it when the movie follows the book.

My only problems were near the end. I feel like they probably ran out of time. And there was a whole sequence that felt completely rushed to me. But other than that it was really good.

Good morning, all! It is 24 hours to physical therapy and I cannot wait!

Last night was terrible: I was up at 3am to take another muscle relaxer, and around 4:30 I took another Tylenol with codeine. I could not settle into a comfortable sleeping position and the pains were intense. I will spend most of my day in bed watching the Jack Benny Lost Episodes.

DR George, you had an action-packed day yesterday!

DR Laura, happy belated anniversary!

I'm forgetting others and I apologize.

Safe travel to Michael Shayne!

I have no personal experience with any kind of physical therapy --

but major VIBES go to DR Elmore for a positive experience and some blessed relief!

On Tuesday I'm going to Cincinnati for a quick couple of days visit with my dad.

I'm sorry that this trip will, once again, leave me no time to go hunting for DRs Ginny or Jrand63 or anyone else in the region.  It's just one of those times when family needs me, and a more leisurely visit to the area for "me stuff" still awaits.  It will happen, though.  I guarantee it.

BK I agree with what you said in the notes. They should file suit...  I'd suggest getting an animal friendly lawyer, as there is good possibility of damages for pain and suffering, especially since Dee Dee saw it happen and had to do whatever she had to do to get the dog off of Casey.   Also the media, that often does more good than anything.  Much more than waiting for the "investigation".

I've eaten, taken my meds, tidied up as much as the pains and limitations will let me, and I'm going to lie down and watch some Jack Benny.

You never know what will turn up when you do a google search for something and another shows up that has a slight relationship to the original search.
