Vibes for DR Elmore that the physical therapy helps - just don't do/expect too much too soon...

Speaking of dogs there were tons of them yesterday at 5:30pm when i went for my bike ride at the lake. Tons.  There is a dog park (enclosed gate) there too. Most of them were there. But the dogs are also allowed to walk (on a leash) around the lake. There were probably 50 dogs doing that. So it made bike riding much more difficult (since you have to slow down in case the dog jumps in front of you, which they don`t do 99% of the time).

You are smart to watch for jumping dogs.  Echo was one of those but I would say "leave" before she jumped and she would be fine, even off leash.  One must be diligent about their dogs faults to prevent problems.

Went to my niece`s soccer tournament yesterday. Much different game than Saturday. They were pretty bad the first day. But my niece and her friend were amazing yesterday. And their team won 5-0 and my niece scored 2 goals. They`ve been practicing track at school all last week and it showed. My niece was running across the field stopping the other team. Her coach seemed happy.

Ginny I thought of you yesterday while watching the Michigan game with my brother and niece.

Thanks, DR Jane!  At least you didn't have to stay up 'til midnight to see how it turned out!

Whenever I see a kid or a dog i slow down because you just never know. The only time i ever had a problem was when a dog went in front of the bike. The owner was holding the leash so i assumed the dog was on it (it wasn`t). It was totally the owners fault since the dogs have to be on a leash. And i was able to slam on my brakes.

I'll just say I adore Shirley Temple's movies.  But in talking about great kid performances - Patty Duke in The Miracle Worker would rank at the top of the list, along with Patricia Gozzi in Sundays and Cybele.  Henry what's his name from ET was great, too.

I don't think I've seen Shirley Temple's films since childhood, but I'm in 100% agreement on the rest of that - which probably comes as no surprise.  LOVE those films, and those performances.

And I am back from physical therapy. It  was god to see Gurjeet and his staff, Luis, Lisa, and a new girl Morgan. I'm getting deep heat massage and three stretching exercises. Next round on Thursday.
