Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

I was in the home of Ronny's grandfather, composer Arnold Schoenberg.

DR Jane - I am most impressed! You move in exalted circles!        :)

My brother & his family do, not me.  I was truly startled to find out after allll these years just who these people are.  So much was going on at the shower and the weekend activities with my family I didn't even get a chance to tell my brother how funny it was.

Itchy eyes, sore throat. I love late summer/early fall, but I hate the attendant allergies!

As soon as I returned home my eyes began to itch and I woke up slightly congested.

I know this is knee-jerk and a gross generalization, but my immediate assumption when it comes to that kind of dog owner is that they are also fiercely proud owners of not just guns but a collection of assault weapons, and they drive a Hummer.

(My apologies to the killer dog, assault weapons, and Hummer owners among us!!)     :)

Of which there are SOOOOOOO many on this board...

Thanks, Jane.

She has a flex-pass, which means she gets four shows per year on whatever date fits her schedule. That seat is a single, so there is someone different in it each time.

So did we. I wonder what the mold count will be tomorrow.

Watching a bad bootleg of The Boy from Oz. Yes, Hugh Jackman is very good, but the libretto is lousy, lousy.

Went to Gelson's and got some vegetable things - their Chinese slaw, which I really like, and some Japanese cucumber salad - my Asian cultures are clashing, but both were just what I wanted.

It's the same one the dentist has offered to replace with a brand spanking new one that shouldn't ever fall off, but the appointment for her to cause me much pain in that pursuit isn't until October 2.  So, I will venture back to the dentist office to have her stick the old one on once more.  Since it doesn't hurt now and since she's doing this all for free, I really don't mind

Time for me to go to bed.  My computer is really messed up at work.  I think I'm going to have to reformat it tomorrow.  Not looking forward to that, but don't know what else I can do.  I have backup disks from about a year ago.  I did find something on line about how to save all my emails, so I'm cool with the reformat.  Too many hours wasted trying to fix it.
