Good morning, all!  No tylenol last night but i did need the flexerill. As soon as I lie down to sleep my left foot begins to throb. It didn't bother me all day, but last night, Bingo!

I need to purchase that new mattress, but I am stuck until my social security comes in next week.  I've had to hold off because of the damned estimated tax payments last week.

As fo everything else, status quo.

Saturday morning greetings!  I am back after an interesting couple of days with my sister in Indiana.  We were doing family history research and did a little touristing in the Amish community of Shipshewana.  We were surprised at how "kitschy" the community is and how many of the "handcrafted" items are made in China.  I was very tired after 2 five-hour drives in two days and just crashed last night.

Suiting up now for Michigan's noon kick-off - Go, Blue!

Thanks, DR Elmore!  I'm glad to hear that the physical therapy is helping you and that you're managing your meds.  Hang in there and get better so we can play in November!

I've caught up on all the news, and now I'm back to CASTLE, season 5, disc 2. I will be very happy to get out of this apartment and moving again. Tempus fidgets.

My POLTERGEIST II just arrived and I've just played a few tracks to sample it.  Holy moley.  What a score, and what a sound.

DR elmore I suppose, but I must ask, that you have tried using pillows or blankets to re-position your leg at night.

TOD:

They do make me laugh these days:

Every dog has its day.  -  Well, sure, it goes to sleep and has a day when it wakes up, right?

A stitch in time saves nine. - Saves nine what? Pints of blood?

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. - Is the gift horse like the tooth fairy?

I like the Groucho's versions:

I'd like to dance with you til the cows come home. On second thought, I'd like to dance with the cows til you come home.

Go and never darken my towels again.

I never forget a face, but in your case, I'll make an exception.

Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.

Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.
