Anthony is on Long Island and I will be out there in a few hours. He's been painting the basement floor at his parent's house. Tonight we are seeing The Wizard of Oz in IMAX 3D.

I'm going to see this with a co-worker on Sunday!

It is pouring rain here in Austin, which is good.  We certainly need it.

The bad news is that the rain is supposed to continue steady into mid-day tomorrow...and I have my writing class to teach in the morning.

Why is that a problem?

The place I'm teaching at is called The Writing Barn..and the dirt road approaching it and the dirt parking lot will probably be mud holes.

I'm up, I'm up - barely.  I fell asleep around four in the morning.  That was due to two irritants that happened just before twelve-thirty, when I was intending to go to bed.  Those irritants kept me up most of the night.  One of them was, of course, this here site.  I got an e-mail three days ago that last night our web host would be dealing with some e-mail issues due to moving to a new data center.  I asked them specifically if this had anything to do with us and was told it did not.  I think that was probably the hope, but the reality was that whatever they were doing with the e-mail stuff took up so much memory and space that all their sites became sluggish or wouldn't open at all.  I called their emergency line at two in the morning and the guy was actually there, dealing with it.  It certainly wasn't better by four, when I finally fell asleep.

Robin, I saw Catch Me If You Can in Seattle BEFORE it went to Broadway!  I really enjoyed it.

I wonder if these "issues" are why HHW will not load at all on my kindle. :(

Here's a nifty fall harvest decorating tip:

Accessorize your hardwood floors with frozen corn!

When DR MBarnum's cat disappeared for a few days, quite a while back now, it turned out that he'd been trapped in a neighbor's garage.
