And on that subject, very sorry to hear about the Vixter's break in....but how wonderful that people were so kind and helpful! That is something nice for her to remember!

Alas, here in Salem, Oregon, 97301, if you leave ANYTHING in your car it will be stolen.

Is that why your parents kept leaving you in the car as a child?

You know, actually they did that a lot. Hmmmmm.

at the old Elsinore Theatre.

And, if you don't like the movie, it's the Olde El Snore.     :)

Last night on Facebook a bit part actor from India kept IM'ing me. But he kept IM'ing me in Hindi, but I could make out enough to know he wanted me to help him break into bigger roles in movies/television. He was certainly handsome enought to be in lead roles.  8)

This is not the first time this has happened since I began interviewing Indian actors. I am beginning to think I need to set up that wished for casting office in Mumbai instead of Hollywood.

I don't know if any DRs have been paying any attention to the horrible terrorist attack at the Westgate Mall in Nairobi this week, but this one picture of a lone little girl fleeing the shooting is an image I can't seem to shake. One wonders where her family is, How frightening for her and all of other kids in the mall (there was a popular kids cooking contest going on at the time of the attack.)

I don't usually eat breakfast out but today, for a change, I went to a restaurant and had fried eggs, bacon and toast which was exceedingly scrumptious!

Woke up to an e-mail from Sally Mayes saying she got some filming thing and cannot come to do our show a week from Monday.  She actually got the filming thing the other day but was still coming.  Now they've just told her she can't leave.  This is not so good and we know are in panic mode until we find a suitable replacement.

Just found our replacement for Sally - Heather Lee, who is fantastic and perfect.  Plus I get to lose one of Sally's songs I didn't like and replace it with something I love.

AND THE VERSE OF THE DAY IS:

I'm in like with you, it's so great
I'm in like with you, must be fate
Fate because of the fact that makes
This whole thing seem so true
You're in like with me too."

From DR George:
Quote
Well this is pretty cool...today, I went to a local burger joint for lunch and in a rare move, I paid with cash.  I got the burger for free because they have points cards and I had enough for a free burger.  I paid for the drink and tater-tots.  Anyway, I got some change, a couple of dollars and 18¢ and I just looked at the coins.  One is a 1919 wheat-back cent!  Pretty cool, huh?

Super  8)!!  :)

What are you going to do with it?

Bryan had a similar parking experience in Portland.  Since then, whenever possible, he leaves all belonging out of site in the trunk.

I am not trying to pick a fight, DR Druxy, but I find the Texas governor and his regime a hotbed of neo-Nazi vipers.

"Neo-Nazi vipers"?

Wednesday morning greetings!  I am at the library where my career began 40 years ago, waiting for the September book discussion to begin.

Fun.  What are you discussing?
