Hello, fellow DRs, from 35,000 feet! We have just passed over Niagara Falls. Thank you all for the good wishes. So far, I have managed to avoid vomiting on the ground or anywhere else, for that matter. Other than the chronic hacking cougher seated directly behind me, all is well.

I did finally find a NEW homepage that is a lot LIKE iGoogle - and you can set it up to look very similar. There are lots of gadgets you can add....so I have started using it.

Thank you. It looks good and Keith agrees. Just a little while ago Keith synced my computer to his and we now have netvibes.com customized. After comparing them Keith decided to stay with netvibes though it was a close decision.

We have come upon a huge glitch in our India/US group's upcoming Diwali festival. At the meeting last night we discovered that, while we are having the event catered, we are not allowed to use an sort of heating devices to keep the food warm at the arena (a large school gym) we are having the shindig at!!

This is supposed to be a very fancy event that people are buying tickets for and the last thing we want is to serve people cold food.

And the worst part of all this is that I am the head of the food committee for the event!

Thanks for posting this, Jack. I've been using iGoogle, too, but just for a calendar and weather report, which aren't all that important. Maybe I'll try this.

Can you torch something on the front lawn since it's a festival of lights? Sorry, cheap joke.

Do you know if catering has ever been held at this venue before? Find another caterer who's worked there and ask how they handled it.
