I'm watching Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, the movie I missed watching with my book group when Richard was in the hospital.

Hmm, I wonder if the show would spring for you to take a car service rather than be frustrated by the traffic every day.  Stranger things have been budgeted for, and maybe the theater has a deal with a car service so it would be cheap for them.

At the end of a wonderful visit with pumpkin cookies and lots of talk and laughter. Larry looks good and looks like he has lost 16 pounds!

Another great photo.  Lar you look terrific.  And Ben you always look good.

I forgot to mention that DR Ben brought me the largest head of cauliflower I have ever seen.  I had half of it for dinner.

It must be cauliflower season because we have a big beautiful one in our frig, maybe not as large as yours but still nice.

It was a huge cauliflower, bigger than a person's head, but the Greenmarket had even bigger ones than the one I bought. I took the smallest one on the table.

I'm glad Larry enjoys it.

LOL-much bigger than the one we have.

I've never ordered anything on I-tunes so I'll have to wait for the One Touch of Venus CD to be released.

What if it's not released on CD?

I think it will eventually get a CD release. Once he makes the money to pay for it.

DR elmore, I saw this after I posted.  At the concert the host said it would be released in the weeks to come (or words to that effect).  Of course he didn't say how many weeks!  Maybe I'd better surrender and do things the modern way.

Now if I could only learn to put my reviews on Goodreads.  LOL,  Just call me Adriana, or to be more precise, Adriana"s eccentric Aunt.

On the CastRecording List,he posted this:
It will be released on CDs (NOT CDRs) with a lavish booklet. The booklet is the reason for the delay.

I'm guessing that will cost him plenty along with the 2 CDs and the jewel cases. Then again, this recording has been in the works for, what?, 15 years? Who's watching the time?

I'm in Tarnation, Kate, doing laundry and preliminary packing, while hunting for a Euro-link to tonight's Downton Abbey.

I'm too busy listening to Dearest Enemy when I can.

But it has to be instrumental when I'm trying to write. That's why I loved the Herbert pieces for piano and cello so much.

Well, I am amazed that I am done with my major project.  Whew!  The bad thing about taking everything out of a closet, building cheap shelves, sorting everything and putting it back is that from outside the closet, when you're done it looks like it did when you started.

This is not an endorsement of the show, but since you asked

Andrew Lloyd Weber's Wizard of Oz (the North American Tour)

from what i've heard its the movie with new songs by lloyd webber based on the music of puccini. :-)

I like the new recording (I don't love it, though).  Here is a link to one of the new songs that ALW wrote for the production.  I actually like this song, but others here have said that they don't.  You decide. :)

I don't.
