I think Cilla needs a new car  to discourage people from constantly crashing into her... something like this

That might help!

ASK BK

I see Criterion is releasing It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World. They will be releasing the General Release version and 197 minute version

"New high-definition digital transfer of a 197-minute extended version of the film, reconstructed and restored by Robert A. Harris using visual and audio material from the longer original road-show version—including some scenes that have been returned to the film here for the first time—with 5.1 surround Master Audio soundtrack on the Blu-ray"

Do you know if this is a "new version" or the same version that was released with footage that was never meant to be part of the film.

It's not the same as the laserdisc "cut" - this was supervised by Bob Harris - I was at the lab with him one afternoon when he was working on it - I've known about this for three months but could say nothing.  I think everyone will be pleased.

Had a good meeting with the set and lighting guy - very talented and he "got" immediately the kind of thing I was looking for.  He has to make sure his sched will work, but I really think he wants to do this a lot - he liked all my little ideas and even his rough sketch of how he thought it should look was great and kind of perfect.
