I'm feeling somewhat revived after eating dinner, so here is a short version of what happened....<SNIP>

Wow, Jane!  That definitely was an adventure.  Glad you're okay and safe at home!

Waiting for the premiere of White Collar (actually it just started). This is the first time that we have ever gotten it the same night as in the US. Since we don't get the USA network in Canada we are normally months behind. So this is exciting since it is one of my favorite shows (and there was a big cliffhanger at the end of last season).

I recorded it, but I haven't watched it yet.  Tonight, I watched tonight's and last week's episodes of "Scandal," as well as tonight's "Grey's Anatomy."

My first job in Phoenix back in 1986 was as a law clerk/bailiff for a judge in the Superior court.  Since that time he's been on the Arizona Supreme Court, a federal district and now a senior judge.  Today I got a call looking for me.. it was his law clerk trying to find me to invite me to a reunion of all his law clerks.  How cool is that!  So....there may be a very quick trip to AZ in my near future.  I'm waiting for the details in an email. I think if I only spend one night there, Callie will be ok even if a sitter can't give her meds.  It would be pretty cool to see him again.  I loved working for him

That sounds pretty cool, Cilla. :)

I did not join DR ChasSmith tonight, much as I would have liked to, and I hope the show went well for Sandy and Lanny.  I look forward to his report.

I went to read DR Kate's review and got caught up in all the reviews. I think it's time for all three books to be acknowledged as a 3-part novel and published in one volume, like DAVID COPPERFIELD.  TH White's THE ONCE AND FUTURE KING began as separate novels.

And I  am off to bed.

Stephen King's "The Green Mile" was originally in six parts.  I still have the original paperbacks...true first editions!

Also hoping that all went well at the Sandy/Lanny show. And looking forward to DR ChasSmith's report!

Hmmm....  So far, Windows 8.1 doesn't seem all that different from Windows 8.

I still have Windows XP.  I'm not quite in the dark ages, but I certainly don't have the latest and greatest.  But, my computer still works quite well. :)

Tonight at "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," we had our smallest house, yet...22 people.  There are 17 people in the cast.

I've performed in shows that had slightly larger casts and we played for audiences of much less than 22. ::)

Good evening, all.  Back from a WONDERFUL evening of music that just flew by.  As I told Sandy, when she announced the last number, I thought it would have been just fine if she'd announced a short intermission instead.  Really a wonderful show of top-notch music.  I thought she was in fine command of her act, and Lanny and Jay (as always) and the guitarist and drummer were an incredible band.  Just perfect.  You all really missed something, and it's too bad this was a one-shot engagement.  I grabbed some photographic evidence with my phone's camera, but am way too beat to tackle that tonight.  I'm hoping there will be a few shots, even if slightly blurry in the low light, worth posting -- and I'll do that tomorrow.  Thanks to both BK and SB for a fine evening!

That's great!  Thanks for the report, ChasSmith!
