Larry got a very nice notice by Peter Filichia in his column today

"The ‘20s? Rodgers and Hart’s DEAREST ENEMY opened in 1925, long before original Broadway cast albums became realities. Now, 88 eighty-eight years later, we finally have a recording of the entire score. Marvelous as it is (especially when Kim Criswell sings), don’t miss the enthralling 11 pages of notes by Larry Moore, credited with “reconstruction and additional orchestrations,” and historian Sean O’Donoghue. They let you know what a miracle this two-disc set is."

Thanks for sharing this with us. :)

Congratulations DR elmore!

Ben left out the next paragraph where he complains about the conducting!

Now.....after some deliberation....I did check out things on the healthcare.gov site....  It turns out that I do qualify for a subsidy and my healthcare costs will be reduced for 2014.  I am surprised and pleased.

Congrats!

Friday evening greetings!  Left here a little after 10 to visit with Mom and pick up her shopping list before meeting my friend Becky for a long lunch at Panera.  Mom looked a lot better than I expected.  Dropped off the few things she wanted from the store and came home for a light supper with Richard.

Listening to our next release.  It's only taken thirty-five years to come out but it was worth the wait - it's Heaven.

Listening to the second score on Monday's release.  If the first was Heaven, the second has me over the Moon. :)

DR elmore thank you for sharing the wedding pics.  I'm sorry you couldn't be in Dublin.  I've missed too many weddings in L.A.

"Heaven"?  I've never heard of that.  I'll have to look it up!

In IMDb, there's Heaven (1988) and Heaven (2002).  Could it be one of those?

I did that on purpose! I didn't want to sneeze on the good stuff.

DR Jane my library finally go the Lisa Gardner books 1 and 2 (the ones she wrote as Alicia Scott). The first book was damaged. But they said they already have the replacement. I don't know that I will be able to read these now as I have 3 other library books to read. And in November I am taking part in a "clean up your ereader" challenge where we read netgalley ebooks and ebooks under $5. I have tons of both of these that I really want to read.
