It is an interview with Richard Sherman. I believe it is from the CBS program Sunday Morning per the logo in the lower right corner. Not sure when it aired. It's more a "fluff" piece. Not much you can do in 7 minutes. It briefly touches on the new stage version of The Jungle Book and nothing on BK's cabaret show. It also doesn't mention the acrimonious relationship between the two brothers who when they weren't working together never spoke to or saw one another.

Of course the Documentary about them "THE BOYS" is a lot more interesting.

I have "The Boys" in my Netflix queue.

DR GEORGE not playing Jonathan and Darlene through the theater sound system is a wise choice.

I very much like THE BOYS documentary, although it has a very sad turn at the end with the enmity between the brothers - and though both were alive when the documentary was made....now Robert is gone...

What I seem to understand is that it was really a rift between their wives that at least started the problem. There are intimations from quotes from Martin & Lewis and Abbott & Costello to the effect that if a team is to survive - do NOT let your wives socialize....

How are you feeling today, ChasSmith?

Way better than yesterday, thanks.  My nose is out of control, so I'm waiting for that part to pass.  The cold symptom medicines help, of course.

Figured out a couple of things in terms of structure, and I think that's it for now - I'll bring it for everyone tonight and I'm sure as I hear things and then begin staging, I'll be moving things around and figuring out the bridging material between numbers.

The second act has started and it looks like all the kids came back from intermission.  That's good.  A couple of the kids looked very scared during the first act, but evidently, they're going to tough it out. :)

Well, the show's almost over and I'll have to go.  I'm meeting my sister after the show and we're going to do some shopping for a raffle basket that will be needed for a raffle in a couple of weeks.

Until later!

I stayed in bed this morning reading until 10:00.  It was nice.  I'm reading "Straight Man" by Richard Russo.

is that the one set in the college? I remember laughing hysterically at scenes in that book. Very farcical. Hope you enjoy it. I'm a big Russo fan.

It is and I am enjoying very much though parts have made me squirm a bit.

I loved listening to the audiobook of that on a car trip a few years back.

I bet the audio, if done well, would be funnier than reading the book.

It reminds me of when Bryan was 5 and discovered "Dr. Who".  It was too scary for Craig and me but Bryan wanted to watch it.  Periodically he would have to leave the room, check up on us, and then return back to the show. :)  If Craig was entertained or napping I would watch with Bryan.

This is what I am reading right now:

Enjoyable light reading, sort of a gay P.G. Wodehouse, as I recall. Don't remember much of a plot, but I remember smiling a lot as I read it.

Loved this movie. So sad that the people who offfered so many happy endings in their songs couldn't have had a happier relationship in real life.

I just found out in November there is a dog show only half an hour away from us.  One of my favorite Bernese Mt Dogs will be there.  I hope I can go.

DR Jane - DR John G.'s description is apt. Definitely smiles rather than guffaws, but entertaining.

We did not photo the food

but it was delicious

I had seafood bisque  that was really lovely  as my starter and Vixdad had the bacon wrapped scallops

The we had the porterhouse for two with mushrooms and baked potato

and a lovely bougelaise to accompany it all

we were really too full for dessert but order a dish of hagendaz vanilla  as a little sweet at the end of the night

the waitresses brought a big platter with two cinnamon donuts with  white chocolate shavings and caramel sauce and a small cheesecake and a chocolate mousse cake with something that looked like a small roman candle shooting  sparkles every where- we had mentioned it was our anniversary whn we booked th reservation and the dessert was  a gift from the manger

DR vixmom, I thought gifts went to the manger!

So, I've taken a long hot bath which was quite refreshing, I will watch ONCE UPON A TIME, and go to bed.

I left something important at Toyland, and I'm not sure how to go about retrieving it easily.
