I believe that Johnny Galecki was originally supposed to be the star of the show.

I remember in the early seasons  he WAS the star...and it was obvious that he was the lead of the group, but Jim Parsons' character became more popular and now he seems to have taken over.

I still think that Johnny is a cutie.

SLEEP WELL VIBES FOR DR ELMORE AND ANY OTHER DR'S WHO NEED THEM!!!

Thank you, Jane. Yes, I'm on that list. I ate more chocolate last night than I should have and that's all it takes for me to have trouble falling asleep. RESCUE SLEEP is my favorite (OTC) sleep remedy. They're tiny pills which don't require water--they just melt in your mouth almost instantly. I'm usually asleep about five minutes after I take one, but last night I needed a second one. They come in a blister pack and I keep it under my pillow, so if I don't fall asleep I just grab it and take one. At health food stores or online.

Jennifer, I purchased the Homedics Sound Spa. Don't you just love euphemisms?

www.amazon.com/HoMedics-SS-2000G-Relaxation-Machine-Nature/dp/B00A2JBMRE/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1383432219&sr=1-1&keywords=homedics+sound+machine

I guess I didn't pay enough attention to the post the other day that explains the better way to do this.

In another amazing bit of serendipity, I found a theatre program of Sondheim's Marry Me a Little, from 1987, in which the part of Man was played by our very own...   DR Ryacko! More than 25 years before I met his acquaintance on this here board!!

Neat!!!

Well, I'm finally at my hotel.  I took one of those shared vans and I was the second last off.    Guess I'll rest awhile and go to one of my (and BK's) favorites, California Pizza Kitchen.

My friend Matthew just left, and I walked down the three flights with him, got my mail and walked back up. That's today's exercise.

I've set all the clocks, so I'm ready for tomorrow.

I read this and set my travel alarm clock next to my bed.  I also set my alarm for an hour later having changed it last night.  I usually leave it set for whatever time I need to get up for my hiking group.  With the colder days we are leaving later and I don't have to normally get up when it is still dark out.

As much as I find Sheldon's quirks funny I find at times I would rather have more of Johnny, who I also think is a cutie.

I put them on the shopping list.  Knowing I needed to sleep last night I took an atavan.  They really only work for 4 hours yet I will usually sleep well all night.  They also help with pain so I wake up feeling better.  I try not to take them very often and I should try something else.

The prices are good but they can take a long time.  I only did this once and we circled the airport a few times picking people up.  On the second circle I politely asked how many time will we do this and the driver yelled at me big time, including yelling he had already told us.  The other two passengers hadn't heard him either so I suspect he didn't.  When I, once again polite, apologized that I am hard of hearing and didn't hear him say that, he yelled at me again.  The next time I took a cab with a very nice cab driver.

This morning we went to a dog show about half an hour from us.  I expected the Bernese Mountains Dogs were to begin at 8:00 but it turned out to be later.  It was fun.  We saw three people and two dogs that we know.  We pet a super sweet Blue Great Dane that had not had her ears cropped.  They were lots of beautiful dogs and a number of cute puppies including two St. Bernards-oh so cute.

I had wanted to stay until after the Juniors competition to watch a young gal we know.  They were very late and Keith was losing patience.  Originally he was going to stay home and pick up leaves but it was raining.

We have been wanting to go to Bed Bath & Beyond which is in the mall.  We found a number of needed items and Keith found some unneeded ones.  I also went to the calendar store.

Do you mean the dog show or BB&B or the calendar store?

Juniors are the young dog handlers in the ring.  We have been watching one such gal grow into a very poised, confident young lady.  We also love her dog.  We did see the "junior" and her dog win best in breed today.  Neither made a single error that I could see.

I still haven't taken the time to figure out how to do this properly - the last time I tried it, I couldn't get it to work.

Back from the birthday dinner at The Smoke House - excellent, of course.  I had an artichoke, cup of soup and the pulled pork sandwich - way too much food - am stuffed now.

The stumble-through was way too much fun - a few flubs here and there but what a smiler this show is - and Mr. Sherman was with us and teared up several times.

Finished with my viewing.  Dozed off for about twenty minutes - so that means I think I go a half hour of sleep last night.

Sally Struthers has 73 stops on her HELLO, DOLLY! tour, with a lot of smaller venues.  In Washington and Oregon I only saw Spokane in WA, and Eugene in Oregon. The lastpage of the tour lists these stops.  Can that be correct?  Two stops in the same city?

4/1/2014           Abilene Civic Center   Amarillo   TX
4/2/14-4/3/14   Amarillo Civic Center   Amarillo   TX
4/4/14-4/5/14   Municipal Auditorium   Lubbock

She's coming to Sioux City in January, I think
