Well, you've read the notes, the notes were sluggishly sluggish, and now it is time for you to post until the sluggishly sluggish cows come home.

Had to jump out of bed early when I heard the fuel company's truck backing all the way up the driveway (don't ask me why they back up; they should know after nearly twenty years that there's plenty of turn-around room up here) to fill ALL THREE (count 'em) propane tanks.  Went out to say hi and the guy was very impressed with the setup.  He said there's easily a full week's worth of power outage with this capacity.  Of course we all know there's never going to be another power outage, once the installation is completed, which will be by the end of the week.  I don't think he'd gotten the memo yet.  Anyhoo... and nevertheless...

Busy day today, with basement prep, creating some pathways through all the SH stuff so the electrician can work tomorrow.  Then my dental cleaning and checkup.  And playing tonight's rehearsal -- with the violinist, FINALLY -- thought that would never happen.

So, I may appear sluggish, but I'll really just be a little E&T getting things done.

Good morning, all! I slept late because I was up too late reading Bitch In A Bonnet.  The man's humor is outrageous and his admiration for Ms Austen endless. His comments are very astute, and I'm really enjoying his blow-by-blow breakdown of the novels.

I will shortly walk over to the polls and vote. It's not a bad schlep, and I can stop and rest at the park benches at theBroadway intersection.

There will be a lot of tsuris coming from Philadelphia today, and I am not amused over the situation.  I hope it's not nearly as disastrous as I fear.

Although I never read from an E Book, I don't think I would enjoy reading as much.

I am almost finished with Circle of Friends, by Maeve Binchy.

I love it so much, I am taking my time with it because I don't want it to end.

Good Morning all:

TOD:

I actually like them equally. I never thought that I would like an e-reader. But if you like reading then it is a must. I honestly cannot imagine not having one.

At first I was happy to have one mostly because there are a lot of novellas for series I read that are only available as e-books.  Then I realized how many lesser known authors there are whose novels are amazing and who charge less than $5. There is no way that i could request all of these books from my library.

I still don't use my e-reader to buy full price books (a lot of people use it this way).

I highly recommend a kindle. Amazon.com has so many deals it is crazy. Expensive books go on sale. Lots and lots of free books and reasonably priced books.  Amazing.
