Good morning, all! After all of the mess yesterday, I'm taking things very slowly and easy today.  I suspect there will been enough angst in doing laundry, now that the lift is running again.

At this point, I feel as though I'm waiting for another round of fresh hell I'd like to avoid; I doubt I'm going to receive any good news concerning possible employment before Jan 2014.

What has happened with your Christmas piece?

Great video in the notes.

Congrats to DR JANE.

DR MATTHEW the Dream-O-Matic 6000 says that you always try to please people with your music, but sometimes the very people you are working for cause you problems - you also at times seek an unrealistic perfection in your work.

Wednesday morning greetings!  Last night I graduated from the nonprofit board leadership program with a certificate, a Miami University coffee mug, and a United Way "Live United" T-shirt.

Everything is moving far too slowly.

Great. Listened to "Hermits" this morning on my iPhone. Hate hearing songs like that out of context and in a mix with the likes of my exercise music, etc., but this one is fun no matter in or out of context.

I've been on the phone for a while.  Mom's Monday test showed an esophageal stricture for which her doctor wants her to see a gastroenterologist.  I've talked to her, the gastro's office, her primary doc's office, and her again.  We're all set for Monday, Nov. 18.

I've also talked to a nice young lady at Artie's, who made a reservation in the name of Palmer for 6pm next Wednesday, November 13.  I told her 8 people because that's the only way I could get her to note that we'd like the big table in the back.

The laundry is in the  dryers.  Carrying the whole load of 3 weeks' laundry down the block damn near killed me, so I will carry it back in 2 or3 parcels.

I hate being poor.

DR Elmore - do you have a rolling cart of some kind that you could use to transport your laundry?

TOD: BK, did you ever watch the Antonioni movie, L'Eclisse? Or was it La Notte? If so, I must have missed the notes on that. What did you think?

DR Jrand63 - in reply to your question yesterday I can't say I found much of interest in the shed apart from an old deckchair hidden at the back which I'd forgotten about and which was providing a good home for spiders.

A spider filled deck chair is certainly worthy of mention.
