And I am back from the Goodspeed event. The place was packed so I stayed an hour before leaving. I saw Michael Price, the Goodspeed producer whom I really love and he was the person I most wanted to see. I also saw one of the actors in 2004 WHERE'S CHARLEY?, Jim Racheff, who wrote the book adaptation for OH, KAY!, my first show at Godspeed, several longterm Goodspeed friends, Sue Frost, Mary Miko, and John Pike, actor Tally Sessions who will be recording ROBERTA in Feb., man-about-town Michael Portantiere, and composer/dance arranger David Krane, who's back from working on the film of INTO THE WOODS. I'm glad I went, and I'm so glad I didn't fall down anywhere!

So I went to work today and it was slooooooooooooooooow - the boss let us go home at 1:30

Good for your boss.  Did he stay or close up shop completely?

Remind him next year how slow it was today and maybe he will consider closing for the holiday.

he didn't come in at all  just sent us an email  to go on home

You definitely need to stay closed next year.

DR Kate and I met our niece for lunch at Applebees.  It was crowded, probably because they were giving free entrees to veterans and military members.

Did they get your names spelled right on the license? That's  all that matters, Mrs. Glad.

And I'm also really glad you went.

Sort of reminds of

Watched ROOM 237, of which I'd seen a little before.  Once you "pick up on the vibe" of this thing, it's fun.  Blu-ray has some extra features that I'll enjoy seeing another day when I'm more awake than I am now.

Well, I must be off.  Today, my friend Margo and I are going to meet for lunch, then we're going to the Olympia Film Festival to see (occasional) DR Edisaurus' latest film, "A.K.A. Doc Pomus."

Have a good day, all!

I'm back from seeing "A.K.A. Doc Pomus," and it's a wonderful movie!  And I didn't know this, but Willi Burke, who was in the cast of The Anastasia Affaire, recorded by BK, was Doc Pomus' wife.  It was really informative and who knew that he wrote so many songs (over 1000!), and that I recognized so many songs, but I never knew who he was.  Highly recommended. :)
