Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

I have indeed accepted the role of Philoctetes in the Achilles/Achillies' Son to be produced in January at DePauw University.  I have many of the BEST lines in the show, and I am hoping it will be a fun process...at least it won't be as grim as THE CRUCIBLE was last year (although I did enjoy doing that show).

Congrats, Jack!  And Break Legs!!

There are a few of these that I do.  Some ideas are the "why didn't I think of that" kind!  Thanks for posting, ChasSmith!

The notes today might have brought a tear to my eye - probably the best notes in the history of HHW.   Bravo!

I have found some interesting things during my sorting.

For example, my digital camera - missing in action for several years.

And - inexplicably - a beefcake shot of DR MBarnum. Which is odd, as I've only met him once, and he definitely had his clothes on.     ::)       :)

From DR Singdaw:

And like some DR said above (was it Jane?), may some work for you come out of it.

It was DR Vixmom, I just agreed with her suggestion.

My beloved goddaughter Charlotte came to visit me today. It was lovely see her and hear about the things she's been doing. Today: voice lesson, dance class, and a screening with her godmother Celia Weston.  She wears me out!

Good morning, all!

BK, congrats on the success of Sandy's show last night. I was delighted and honored to be there at the big kid's table, and I had great fun catching up with Jessica and meeting her lovely daughter.

I could see all the wonderful BK touches in Sandy's show, and absolutely loved your song 'Simply". It was "Simply" marvelous.
I also loved "This Christmas" - so funny, and worked perfectly as her encore. My other favorite BK touch was the hint of "Cabaret" in her "Where or When".

Great night, great work! I was so happy to be there.

It sounds like a great evening.

Nice thoughts from Mr Deutsch....with which I agree.

Loved reading all about the show and process in the notes.

I am not enough in the know about Cabaret to have a favorite....but I do love the BK Produced CD's of singers ...

Oh, and Jerry Lewis arrived in Indiana this morning with a light dusting of snow.

Ditto...and ditto, Ditto, Ditto...and ditto!, and Ditto (but in Tumwater, and no "and ditto"...no snow in Tumwater ;)).

TOD:

Does Tom Wopat do cabaret?

If so, he is my favorite.

Had a quick ham and Swiss on rye and a small thing of onion rings, and am now slaving over a hot stove of liner notes.

I keep forgetting to congratulate DR MBARNUM on his successful celebration last weekend.  Are there photographs somewhere for us to see?

Very interesting notes, BK!  I'm so glad Sandy's show was a success!  I'm looking forward to seeing her next week at the Signature Theatre in Arlington.

Can one wear them straight out of the oven?

One set of liner notes done.  Will begin another when I'm back from rehearsal.  Now I have to go pick up packages and put gas in the motor car, then try to get to the bank.
