Regrouping in the Marriott Marquis' 8th floor lounge after getting TWELFTH NIGHT tickets for tonight and MOTOWN for tomorrow night.  Soon we'll catch a #20 bus down to the West Village to visit DR Jose at the Big Gay Ice Cream Shop.

Congrats on getting the tickets.  Enjoy the ice cream.

Wouldn't that be fun, DR Jane! Remember our first NYC HHW get-together in 2004! Such wonderful memories of the eating-walking-talking tour!

Thanks, DR Jane. We decided to have a sandwich here because Richard thought ice cream for lunch would make him weird.  He had ham & Swiss and I had tuna salad.  On to the ice cream!

We reminisced last night about the EWT tour!

If only we had know what a feast DR FJL & Skip planned for us I would have eaten less on the walking tour, still I managed to indulge in the feast :)

Smart decision, health wise.  As for weird, I think he is weird for thinking such a thing ;)

Sad news for "I Love Lucy" fans.  Shirley Mitchell, who played Marion Strong, has died.

DR FJL:  My heartfelt disappointment for your having been ledited out of not one, but two, TWO, photos from last night.

I understand there are legal issues to contemplate, however.

The cast list for ACHILLES/ACHILLIES SON contains two people I know from THE CRUCIBLE, and my friends TJ and Caroline (the director's wife) both of whom work with me at PCPH.

We have our first meeting Monday morning, but rehearsals don't begin until after Christmas break.

Yes, it is.  And it LOOMs, I tell you....it LOOMS.   So much to do, so little time, etc., etc.

Only two more full weeks of work before then.

Odd thing:  Yesterday, and today, I was composing a message of more than just a single line.  And when I clicked on post, I got a pink box with red writing telling me I "timed out" and to try reposting.  So, I hit post again and all was well.

But, is that not strange?

DR Ben, I'd meant to ask you how the chili dogs were, but I believe you said they were quite good.  I love a chili dog now and then.  My favorite to date, taste-wise, are Nathan's, but chili dogs are a mess and it's much nicer to eat 'em on a plate.

I would never eat a chili dog or burger any other way than on a plate.  A local place has delicious chili burgers and I always ask them to put it on a plate instead of their Styrofoam container.  That just never works out. :P

Such fun in NYC...makes me want to go and visit my HHW friends! I really do need to get over there again, and I want to get to meet DR ChasSmith! Everyone says he is the bomb!

And nice to see E & T DR JosePiano! Where was very E & T DR Rodzinski? Did he get an invite? I do miss the postings from those two.

When I win the lottery I am going to fly all HHW DRs in to NYC or LA for a huge party!

That's also always been my plan...if I win the lottery.

I've taken care of my 30 minutes of Jerome Moross work for the day, added it to my next invoice, and I guess it's time to make the bed.

Rob Berman and my adopted son Joshie have offered me a spot of work at Encores!, so that was my really god news from yesterday.  I hope to begin it next week.

Great news, Larry!  Congrats and good luck!

Wasn't that supposed to be over and done with at the end of last week?  I'm still finding it a slow process getting HHW to pop up.

The #20 bus took us right to the Big Gay Ice Cream Store, where DR Jose presented us a "flight" of flavor samples and then brought out some hot fudge to sample.  Not having the sense to stop there, Richard and I ordered from the menu - he had a Mermaid and I had a Salty Pimp (easy on the salt, but Michael double-dipped the chocolate).  We don't plan to eat again until after TWELFTH NIGHT (the play, not Jan. 6!)

We took a bus up 6th Ave. to Rockefeller Center, where I did some Christmas shopping at the NBC store.  We looked at the tree, encased in scaffolding, and then watched the skaters for a while.  Being too far from the apt to walk there and back to the Belasco by 6:30, we're relaxing with coffee at Cafe Cranberry on 44th.

Even a clowder of samples might be fun!
