And here I sit, waiting - once again - hopefully for the last time - for my electrician to arrive.  Final connections are to be made today, then next week the generator people come out and start 'er up.  Then the installation gets inspected, and Bob's my uncle.

Have I mentioned that, following a hilarious series of errors and misunderstandings regarding the price I was originally quoted, that I ended up going one model up, so now it's a 20kw?  You read that right.  20kw.  It's not a 17kw any more.  17kw is so passe, like, so "last week".

I've been completely off as to my days this week.  It is indeed Friday!

TOD:

Finally getting to the James Dean Collection.  First and foremost, GIANT, for which I have been waiting several years for a watchable copy.  And that watchable copy will be in the player and on the screen...tonight!

Good morning, all!  DR ChasSmith, I've had a hard time knowing which day it is ever since this infirmity began. Every day is like the other. Except for therapy days.

I am not going to Toyland today. It will be tomorrow. I slept poorly and it took me forever to get my act together this morning. Now that i am dressed, i have no idea what to do with myself.

TOD:
  DVD:  MIRANDA, several films
CD:  Dearest Enemy, Guy Haines, New Girl In Town
  VCR: zilch

dvd: barney miller and they included original pilot which I never had the opportunity to see. The first episode is the one with brownies laced with hash. It is my favorite episode from the series and one of my favorite episode from any tv series.

DR Elmore, would you like to have brunch or an early lunch with us on your way to or from Toyland?  I will call you today, either before Radio City or between that and MOTOWN.

Thanks, Ginny, for the notes on Twelfth Night, which has always been a favorite of mine, too. I guess because I read it back when I was at the point where the mockery of Malvolio had me in fits of laughter.

DR Ginny, the problem with Toyland is that I will go down between 8-9:00, and, with my walking, i figure I'm there until I leave. I may not see you before you leave tomorrow. Your schedule's much fuller than mine!

DR John G, Stephen Fry was quite wonderful in that role.

Seems somehow fitting that I have a browser tab labeled OY AND VEY.

EDIT:  I'm going to leave it up all day.

Well the revamped Healthcare.gov site will not accept my password, so it asks me to click a link to reset the password, but then I don't get a reset email.....

Coverage is supposed to start with the first payment, but since my payment is covered by my subsidy....so I was trying to find out when my subsidy would be mailed the Anthem....

I guess I will just keep trying.

DR DOUG R - I enjoyed GRAVITY very much as well.....and it was only 91 minutes long, it did not overstay its welcome!  And Sandra Bullock and George Clooney are very personable personalities.....  What's NOT to like?

TOD, continued:

GIANT, to be sure, but how could I have forgotten OLIVER!?

That's one I never really appreciated back in the day.  I was never totally crazy about the show, anyway, but finally seeing the movie made me appreciate the material more than I had before.  But when I took a short preview of the Blu-ray the other night, I just about fell over at how magnificent it looks.  And sounds.  It's one for the big screen and the big speakers, and I'm probably going to end up loving it.  The film, anyway.
