I hear fireworks. The football team must have scored.

I am not close enough to any school to hear the crowd or the fireworks.

I get to hear all the concert sounds and the events sounds from down in the park, but those are all during the summer months.  I do get to hear the animals at the zoo when they decide it is time for breakfast.

It's usually very quiet here, except for fireworks and helicopters. There were several helicopters flying around last night, too.

Of course, I have my own animal to tell me it is time for breakfast.  He doesn't say anything, he just keeps tapping me on the arm until I wake up.

We mostly get the traffic helicopters when there is a big accident on the Narrows Bridges.

I have Joshie to wake me up during the night. Usually to cuddle closer.

Well, Nicky is getting to be more of a cuddler as he gets older.

Joshie was feral when I got him. It was a couple of years before he quit running away from me. But he adores me now.

DR Jennifer I commented over at Goodreads regarding the Kelley Armstrong book.  Did you see it?

Yes. Glad you are enjoying the book.

And I needed one to read.

I have the opposite problem.  I cannot keep up with my To Be Read list.

Well, Joshie and I are going to try to go to sleep while it's halftime. Hopefully the neighbors won't have another party tonight and there will be no helicopters.

I lightly hit my baby toes again. :(

I took off my slippers in my room. Now the toes are red again and hurt to walk. It was such a light tap too. I guess i'll have to keep the toes wrapped so i don't accidentally knock them again.

I guess I should go to bed soon since I want to go to a big Craft Fair first thing in the morning. Hopefully the parking lot won't be packed. But it's usually pretty bad (same parking lot as the library and the pool).

Just dumb luck that i hit the same toes. It's not so bad. Just uncomfortable.

I am half way through a 500+ page book. And I don't want to stop reading it. The book came out less than a month ago. But it's a very popular series. And I've tried very hard to avoid any spoilers (apparently there are a lot around).

The book is Allegiant (the 3rd book in the Divergent series).

I just finished MIRANDA Series 3, and i want more! The two best episodes about the care of her sick mother and the humpy doctor and wanting to tell Gary shelves him were really outrageous and truly demented with great slapstick and physical comedy. I love this lady.
