Ah, I seem to be sending people running for the exit.  Too bad, I needed some encouragement tonight.

I hope DR CILLA LIZ posts her commercials on the inner web for us to see.

I will as soon as they are done.   Yesterday they emailed the web ads and the JFK vignettes for me to proof.  They had two major mistakes and I pointed that out.  The response was that I'd get a revised version but I haven't seen it yet.  So, I don't know what is going on with that.   The 30 second commercial I'm supposed to see by tomorrow or Monday.  I really don't know right now, but I haven't mailed a check to anyone so it is what it is

Had a very busy day.  I ended up buying a painting, I wasn't planning on it. But I went to a show of local artists and the wife of an artist who passed away was showing some of his work.  He was very well known here in town.  Anyway, I've done a number of speaking engagements for a group the wife belongs to, so she said if I picked out a painting she'd give me a good deal.  I already have one of his paintings, so I picked out one that is very dramatic and totally unlike the peaceful mood I'm usually drawn to.   I like it but still have to get used to it.  I think it will end up at the office, but right now I have it at home

I had a jail visit I needed to make, so I decided to pay for the painting I'd go visit my client and do some work.  At the end of the day, I got a new painting and made the money to pay for it.  I like that

I am addicted to a new game on FB called Word Battle.  You play against three other people and try to score the most points making a word from a group of letters. There are 4 rounds.  It's much quicker than a game of  scrabble but the point system is similar

I also put up the plastic over a door and a window in my laundry room.  They get the coldest in the winter and the plastic makes a huge difference.  I also cleaned up some leaves from the street by my house.  It's supposed to get windy tomorrow and they would have been all over my yard if I hadn't taken care of them.

I practiced my flutes for a couple hours.  I've got two flute choir performances and two concerts with the concert band between December 8th and the 15th with different music for all of them.  I'm glad my shoulder is holding out so I can play.  I love playing the Christmas songs.   One of the flute choir performances is at a pioneer village. Last year it was really cold, so I just went home after we performed. I'm hoping the weather will be better this year so I can wander around and see the village

I'd push to page 6, but I'm really tired and must get some sleep.  I couldn't find Boo earlier, but she just showed up in the living room looking for food and drink.   All is right with the world. time for bed

I lightly hit my baby toes again. :(

I took off my slippers in my room. Now the toes are red again and hurt to walk. It was such a light tap too. I guess i'll have to keep the toes wrapped so i don't accidentally knock them again.

Yikes!  I hope your toe feels better soon, Jennifer!

Had a very good working rehearsal.  Started at the top of the show after a brief chat with the cast and for the next four hours I stopped and started, worked quite a bit on phrasing and intentions, smoothed out some stuff, and we put back two of the cut numbers - one of them is now close to working very cutely and one needs attention but if we nail it it will be very fun indeed.  I gave it a whole new set up, new entrance music that helps define what it is we're doing with the number, and now it's up to one of the actors in it to get with the style of it.

Well, today I worked concessions for the traveling Warren Miller movie, which comes to Olympia every year.

This year's installment to the franchise is "Ticket To Ride."

I didn't watch it, but I sort of listened to it in the lobby.

The pre-show sales were pretty sedate, up until about the last 10 minutes.

The intermission sales weren't as hectic as they've been in the past.

We actually had an extra person helping at intermission, so that's probably why it seemed manageable.

After the movie, I came home, fed my cat, watch two episodes of "Glee" and the most recent episode of "White Collar."
