Former DR JASON is the merchandise manager for EVITA in San Jose!

Oh right... I'll introduce myself to him this evening.

Good :)

Thanks Ginny, JRand and George

I liked it very much, but I missed the heavy drama of the Jacoby & Meyer and the local ambulance chasers in Manhattan. Not.

;D

I don't think you really needed to add the "Not" ;)

I just put some mail out for pick-up and it feels like winter here in SW Ohio - brrrr!

Do you mean that you put your mail in your mailbox and your mail carrier takes it?

Yes, DR Jennifer, our mailbox is attached to the house right next to the front door.  There's a little gap into which we can insert outgoing mail to be picked up.

We don't have that in Canada.  But there is a big mailbox a street over to put outgoing mail in.

She does indeed! I'm so used to these portentous serious-statements-over-a-logo Jacoby & Meyers or a couple of other firms' commercials that run in Manhattan, that I was surprised to see a charming lady actually talking to a viewer.

Good evening.  As I read these here interesting posts, I am eating a "dinner" consisting of snack stuff that caught my eye in the store:  Snyder's Sea Salt & Cracked Pepper Pretzel Bits; a nice selection of olives from the olive bar; and a "Tasti-Lee" tomato, whatever that is (but it's a good tomato).  Washing it down with Snapple "Half & Half" Lemonade/Iced Tea (diet).

Sometimes it's just good for the soul (or something) to eat a snack meal instead of a real one.  :)

TOD: Blue Jasmine

I'm trying to think if I've seen any other movies this year.

HHW fave Jason Graae will be appearing at the Kennedy Center tomorrow on the Millennium Stage.   They have free performances every day at 6 pm.   They're also shown online.  I'm going to try and go after work.

How soon do the ads start running?

The JFK vignettes are already running.  I'll have to put one of those on FB and I can link to it.  The rest start on Thursday during the special that the vignettes promote.

Very nice, DR Cillaliz - you look & sound great!

Our rules didn't allow attorneys to speak directly into the camera until this year.  I doubt the rules in NY were that strict, but it's made a big difference

Thanks everyone. I was going for a simple straight forward message.  I'm pleased with the way it turned out.

Wow.  The Spanish one is great, too!  I so envy anyone who's fluent in more than one language.

I do, too. I pick at languages, but have never had the time, outside of high school, to devote to learning another language completely. And my memory is no longer what it was, so I doubt I'll ever be able to do it. I get by on food vocabulary.  Go figure.

Several of you must know the movie LET'S SCARE JESSICA TO DEATH (1971).  Is it good?  I was so sure it was one I'd seen back in the day, but just spot-checking the DVD, I don't recognize anything about it -- except its basic look and mood, which is certainly "of its time".

Don't remember much about it. But I've always loved the title. Good and creepy.

I seem to be running out of steam. And I have more to write. Maybe not tonight.

More BK music to write to tonight: World of Susie Wong and Divorce Italian Style. They were a big help.
