Good morning, all.

Had trouble this morning accessing the page. Don't know if anyone else did.

It was a several-minutes wait before the site came up.

I've been having problems logging on. The site either pops up immediately or sits like so much fish until Safari tells me the site cannot be located.

Same here.

Nicky seems much better today.  And his daddy has stepped back from the brink of panic!

Thanks for the good wishes for my NickNack.

BK, by any chance do you possibly have one copy of the Bernard Herrmann CHRISTMAS CAROL/A CHILD IS BORN left in your inventory?  If so, I will buy it immediately!!

Fascinating!  Thanks for that.

Hey, does anyone still do "Stop the World" and "Greasepaint" these days?  I could understand people considering the shows themselves very dated now, but damn it all, I'd like to see them.

Well NO ONE at the Healthcare.gov site can tell me when my subsidy payment will be made to Anthem....they told me to call Anthem....I said if my payment hasn't been made, Anthem won't know me at all.....they insisted.

I called Anthem.....they never heard of me.....

So I don't know if my policy will be in force on January 1, or not.....

Nobody knows nothing.....

I have several movies that I would recommend that I recently borrowed from the library:

Ladies in Lavender
The Help
Blue Jasmine, (Saw at the theatre)
Circle of Friends
Big Fish

Has anyone seen these??

PS: Chances are that there is a back log of new customers at Antham, I do hope it all matches up and is set for you by Jan. 1st, DR JRand.

I actually purchased a used hardcover book from the library.
It is called Villette, by Charlotte Bronte.

It is her final novel which was published in 1853.

I just love reading these types of novels.  I just started it and I am on Chapter 11.

T.O.D.

ASK BK DAY

Do  you thrive on this current level of chaos (one show about to open, one starting rehearsals, two or more CD's to announce, plus us) in your life, or do you prefer a more laid back level in your life?

I kind of thrive on it while occasionally wishing for a day off.  I would go utterly insane without the work, however.

And I'm up.  Was up at nine and fell back asleep, now I must hurry to get ready for my lunch meeting in thirty minutes - happily it's not too far from here.

Everything seems fine now, yes?  I'll keep monitoring, but they really should have been done at four in the morning.  Of course, we all know how THAT goes.

Attempting to answer my own question:
Tams-Witmark's site doesn't provide anything on current productions.  Damn it.  To hell.

DR ChasSmith, was it last night that you asked about LET'S SCARE JESSICA TO DEATH?  I saw it in the 1970s and it was terrifying: frightening and very disturbing. It creeped me out for days. I own it on DVD, and I am too afraid to watch it alone.

I love great lyric writing. Here's an example from one of the barbecue blues songs from the 1930s, sung by Georgia White.

Fat meat is good meat
Don't take no back seat
Don't want no lean meat
Give me some fat meat.

And I like subtlety, too.
