Came home from 6 barbecue meals and am watching two barbecue movies that came in the mail from Netflix today, "Texas Chain Saw Massacre" and the documenary, "Barbecue: A Texas Love Story."

I'm addicted to Word Battle on Facebook.

And that is why I haven't played it yet. Don't need another addiction right now.

I really like barbecue chicken, but it's hard to find it around here.

I think maybe it's rested long enough....time to eat a piece of pie!

I'm surprised at how much I'm not getting tired of barbecue -- except for the last meal of a long day. But the next day I can start all over again.

Just checking my e-mails before passing out.  A friend just sent me this story.

I ate earlier today not knowing that my parents were expecting me for dinner. ::) So, I really didn't eat too much.  When I left after losing at Scrabble, I actually went to a local IHOP and had quesadillas and a layered crepe cake.  It was all pretty good and not too much. :)

Hope you didn't leave because you lost at Scrabble ;)

No...we were all leaving.  But I decided to have the IHOP quesadilla appetizers in honor of today's Topic of the Day.  I didn't know that IHOP had them, but I thought why not?  They're not necessarily my favorite Mexican food, but I do like them.  And these were not too bad.

Then I sort of watch the new TV series Atlantis.

It's sort of like the Adventures of Hercules with Kevin Sarbo (sp?)

There was Jason (as in Jason and the Argonauts perhaps?) there was Pythagoras (the triangle guy) and Hercules portrayed as an overweight, boozing, egotistical wannabe hero.

I recorded "Atlantis."

Home from our first preview and a bite to eat after.  Most of the show played very well indeed, and what didn't was not the fault of the show.  I will refrain from details because they will serve no purpose at this time - just some flubs and stuff - hopefully first performance jitters that will be gone tomorrow.
