The mail carrier arrived at about 6:15 last night.   I can't believe how late he's been lately.

Good morning all:

Very cold day here in West Seneca, ny.

Last night the hubby and I watched EVELYN.

It was based on a true story.  It was very good.  Rate 7/10

Also watched The remake of SLEUTH.

I prefer the original, but it really kept me guessing.

From DR Cilla:
Quote
I did order another new watch on sale on Amazon.  Its really cool.  I love watches and decided to wrap it and  stick it under the tree with my name on it and not say anything and then act surprised.  I don't usually have as many gifts to unwrap as the others, which is fine, I don't have kids an grandkids, but I thought it might be fun to just stick a couple under the tree from the cats.

I like this  :)

My taxi driver was a disappointment. Without telling me beforehand that he hated driving through Times Square so he drove out of his way to Fifth Avenue and down to 27th. I was not amused.

Did that also cost you more?  I'm guessing you didn't tip.

Fifth Avenue?!

At Artie's I pledged to DR Elmore a day of car service extraordinaire, for Toyland and anything else around town that needs or wants doing.

Sorry for the delay, Mr. DR Elmore, sir, but I'll be free for this to happen on pretty much any day after Thanksgiving weekend!

What a wonderful, thoughtful gift.

The DEAREST ENEMY orchestra parts and vocal score are now corrected and finished. That's one big heap off my back. On to the Moross and Encores! jobs.

I'm heading home.

This morning I was awake and out of bed at five a.m.; in order to field the calls from the newtwork morning shows.  No such luck.  Seriously, I was awake at five, and didn't feel sleepy, so I got out of bed.  Two hours later, I went back to bed for a nap, and now I am up for good (or for bad).

I am hoping that today's rehearsal will not be quite the marathon that yesterday's rehearsal turned out to be.  The theater provided pizza and salad for us around 3:30, so I guess they figured they had paid us for the entire day.  Also, since they are giving us all of Thanksgiving Day off, I guess they need to work us to death before that day.

Since it was a Saturday, they probably figured they could keep the kids as long as they wanted without the parents getting upset.

Thanks for the comments on the Broadway World article.  I had to give the theater permission to go with the cripple comeback story.  We will probably sell out the run anyway, but I figured I might as well help the only way I could.

I feel like I have been away from here for a month.  Don't worry, if I live through Hell Week, I will be back to normal a week from tomorrow.

Jane, I am so sorry to read about that dog.

Thank you.  It is amazing how one can love a dog so much that they have never met in person, yet Bernese Mountain Dog owners around the world have been crying.  We have watched this boy on video and in photos since he was a puppy.

At this time of the year, you bet.  The parent's can shop while the children work-funny.

Nice that they asked for permission first, and I like how they simplified your story.  I'm very happy you are doing what you love again.

Good afternoon, all.

Been a busy day so far, but a nap certainly helped.

Looking forward to reading the article, TCB.
