Well, you've read the notes, the notes were Kafkaesque, and now it is time for you to post until the Kafkaesque cows come home.

Well, I'm back from seeing the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary episode, "The Day of the Doctor" on the big screen in the big 3-D!  It was not religious in any way, so it's not a topic of the day reference.

In seeing the show for a second time, I picked up on references that I didn't when I watched it the first time.  That was fun.  And seeing it in 3-D on a large screen is just pretty darned cool, in general...to me.

Good morning, all! I slept rather well, and I need to head off to Toyland shortly. I've got some things to drop off, some to pick up, and a form to print out.  I'd like to be back uptown before noon, if possible.

More to follow,

Tuesday morning greetings!  Today is house cleaning day for me.  I may send Richard to pick up the turkeys, because it looks like the weather may be tricky tomorrow...

DR JOHN G - when I was at the WalMart yesterday, I noticed that they already had several bargain priced electronics in the aisle....  You may not have HH GREGG's in your area, but they also have good prices....although the sales people try to force you to buy the protection plan and treat you badly when you don't....

The last time I was being pressured, I stopped a moment and said....this is a gift for my sister who has leukemia and she is not expected to live another year, I don't NEED the extended protection plan.....that ENDED THAT CONVERSATION quickly....

DR JohnG, as DR JRand mentioned, there are a lot of good TV set bargains out there now. My Toshiba has great sound, so I did not neet a sounds system to go with it.
