CIF playoff game tonight in Santa Barbara.
The bleachers overlook the ocean.  Very nice drive also.

Hope the hot dogs are good.  ;D

He has a cat.
A cat that owns the house.
A cat that owns the furniture.
A cat that owns the beds.
A cat that looks at me, like what is my problem.  ::)

Is any of the original FOLLIES cast still alive?

Yes, several: John McMartin, Harvey Evans, Kurt Peterson, Victoria Mallory, my friends Susannah Clem and her husband Joel Craig are the ones I can think of off the bat.

I just declared all of the companies from whom I've purchased online and who continue to send me offers as "junk mail." Every email from them is now going directly into the trash. After the Christmas madness, i'll decide which ones to take off the list.

The mail finally arrived at 6:30pm and the check I hoped to deposit today will not be deposited until Monday. Goddam!

Went back to Jerry's at two-twenty and got the one available booth.  It thinned out five minutes later, only to fill up again five minutes after that - having checked out five other local restaurants that were completely bereft of people, it's even more baffling.  Then I picked up a couple of packages, then I did some banking, now I'm in for the rest of the day and evening.

Really enjoyed Cilla and TCB's fun race to get to page 6 last night!

And so glad Cilla, that your Thanksgiving turned out so much better than you'd expected.

Thanks. Me Too!

Good morning, all! I slept in: no matter how tired I was when I got home, I could not get to sleep. I watched a bit of the TNT "Castle" marathon, read a bit, and finally dozed off.

Today, I've got to finish up some Moross work, drag out the full scores of ROBERTA and start marking my edits.

DR cillaliz, I'm glad your sister-in-law came down on your side over your brother's aqua madness, and I'm happy you had a good day.

To work! More coffee, first!

Thanks Elmore.  It really was nice to see everyone and I really like Adam's girlfriend, Katie.  She's very down to earth and fit in well with everyone

DR Cillaliz, one of the things I'm most thankful for is that your day turned out so much better than you expected.

Ginny, how sweet.  Thank you.   Gabe reported to his grandpa that "Last night Cill and I watched animals singing on the computer and we laughed hilariously"  Not bad for a 6 year old.

Glad that DR CILLA LIZ had a fine feast.....

I shall return to work tomorrow.

Tonight there is a new episode of DRACULA that I will try to watch without falling asleep.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at my brother's house - there were the Vixfamily three plus my parents and my SIL's sister and husband and my SIL's parents so a small group -

We had Turkey - which we all like, bread stuffing with cranberries and apples and sausage stuffing, greenbean casserole, corn, my favorite cauliflower casserole, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, rolls, turnips and gravy.

Dessert was apple pie, pumpkin pie, banana cream pie, chocolate pudding pie and vanilla ice cream

My contribution was wine, beer , and rolls, and driving my folks ... so I got off lightly this year -  I hung around and helped clean up at the end to make up for that

Turnips and gravy?

it ain;t Thanksgiving  unlessen ya gots turnips and gravy!

DR Ginny, get your butt to a phone now and call your doctor about those damned nosebleeds.

This minute, Missy.

Please do, Ginny - we love you!
