Last night, my performance was where it should have been on Opening Night, but wasn't.  In fact, the entire second show seemed super charged.  No second night slump from anyone.

Good news, DR TCB!  Best wishes for the rest of the run!

Thanks, Ginny.

Ginny, are you still enjoying your Keurig?  Also, are you still making your own pods?

Yes.  Yes and no.

We are enjoying it very much, but I've gotten very lazy about using my Java Jig with ground coffee.  It's too easy just to reach for a K-cup...

TCB, I'm very glad to hear that you feel better about the show. I would love to see you on stage. Probably ain't gonna happen but it can be a bucket list thing.

I could have warned you about that.  First thing in the morning, it is a little too much trouble to fill your own.

I have two friends who ride the Metro North to work on a regular basis and whenever they go into Manhattan.  Was glad to hear from both of them this morning so I know they are ok

Thanks, Ben.  I don't think I have ever been on anyone's bucket list, for any reason.

I've finished my Moross work, made a few ROBERTA editing notes, and heard from Joshie, who rather exasperatedly told me he was on a different train (Amtrak, not Metro-North) and had arrived back in Manhattan earlier. All is good. What do I know about getting to his parents home? I'm very happy he's safe.

I also heard from Niall about getting together tomorrow and had an irritating email from The Man From Philadelphia, who can be completely clueless about things.  I am not sure how to respond.

DR TCB, I'm very happy to hear that rumors of your retirement from acting are grossly exaggerated.

I think we are enjoying the last of our beautiful weather.  We went for a lovely walk after working outside.  Poor Keith usually doesn't do yard work on Sundays and this was his second Sunday in a row.

Cilla, we (Anthony) have an Ion turntable and we're very happy with it. We've had it for quite a while and it works fine for us. Anthony has transferred lots of LPs to digital files and then burned the to CD, including records for Dear Larry. I don't think they have the one we have anymore but here is the Web site. I just hope the one you bought years ago was not an Ion :o

Ion Turntables

Thanks Ben.  I'll have to go see what it was.  There was a plastic piece under the turntable that was actually broken.  I don't know where or when it happened, but considering I never used it, I'm guessing it happened before I bought it.  Next time I will set it up and use it right away so I know it works

I mentioned years ago why I'm doing this.  My dad played Dixieland trombone and played in swing bands from the time he was in junior high through high school, college, the army and then through law school.   Back then you could just make your own records  I have a bunch of them and they need to have all the noise taken out.  I do have a little contraption that hooks to my stereo and then to a computer and I used that and was making some progress but the project got sidelined years ago.  I'd rather use a usb turntable than the cumbersome set up I had to do before.   I do need it to play 78s.    Anyway, I'd like to get some of it done for Christmas, so I need to get a turntable soon.

Ben, mine was an Innovative Technologies turntable.  It was a spur of the moment buy at Shopko.  I probably wouldn't have gotten it if I had researched it

BK, I remember GASOLINE ALLEY pretty well though I didn't really read it, but one of our local papers carried it when I was growing up.  I believe the distinction of the script was the characters in the strip actually aged over the years.

I am being very intentional today about sitting still with my feet up.  It's harder than it looks.

I cleaned out the humidifier, put in a new filter and got it running.  That's helped my stuffy nose quite a bit.  I thought maybe it was just dry air bothering me.

I also got the weather stripping redone on the front door.  Man, does that make a difference.  Didn't get the plastic up on the last couple windows, but tomorrow is still supposed to be good weather so I'm hoping I can leave work early enough to do it

I would have a hard time doing that all day.  Is your doctor's appointment tomorrow?

I, too, really like my Keurig - well, mine is a Cuisinart, but same thing.  I use it for hot chocolate and tea in addition to coffee. I intended to use my own coffee but somehow that hasn't happened yet

That's great, Tom!  Can't wait to see it!!
