And I am home from physical therapy. Today the 15 minutes on the bike nearly killed me. I have no idea why.

Steps back are normal, don't worry about it to much.

From DR Jennifer:

Why can't you get it from your computer?  It would make sense that you could do it either on your nook or computer (the same way you can buy an e-book)

My original Nook downloaded all the library books from my computer and this one only from my Nook.  I was puzzled by that as well when I first got it.  I prefer the way it is so I can get my books if I'm not home.

When you buy books from B&N do you have the same issue?  I would really not like it if i couldn't buy the e-books from my computer.

When you say you can only download the e-books from your NOOK do you mean that you can only select them on your NOOK. Not sure i'm understanding.

I just got the funniest and longest email from Anthony Morelli so I know all the real dish on the Midwest Trek that he and our DR Ben are on. Sounds like they are having one helluva good time.

Thanks for the good news.

I am looking forward to the Sondheim documentary since I have [free] HBO now.

I just watched the MAKING OF THE SOUND OF MUSIC....and I beginning to feel the way DR JANE wrote last week.....seeing the kids in their auditions and sort of watching the process is making me more excited about the show.

.....I just hope they are really doing the musical script and not making a lot of fake build ups to commercials......

Hmmm, I don't think that was me.

If it makes you feel any better, DR Elmore, I found my 30-minute basement walk more taxing than usual today, too.  Hadn't exercised myself in more than a week.

If I went that long without walking or excising I would be extremely grumpy.  Of course I didn't have to work over Thanksgiving either.

Amazon.com is offering Broadway in a Box: The Essential Broadway Musicals Collection for $52.74.  There are 25 shows, so that is about $2.00 a show!

I figured my 2 solid days of housecleaning counted as exercise, but they were followed by 4 days of mostly sitting around and eating a lot of the wrong things.

The article in TV Guide, or was it Entertainment Weekly; said they were not interested in remaking the movie, but wanted to present the original Broadway version on film.

P. S.:  I have no financial or artistic control over this production, so don't blame me if they screw it up!

The publisher has given us an extension on the deadling until Jan. 6. Guess that means no Christmas holiday for me. But it also means less stress. So I think your vibes worked.

Good!  Maybe you can still finish in time to enjoy Christmas.

As long as they don't alter the script, I'll be happy.

Has anyone, here, ever used ZBIDDY.  I haven't but I just watched a Dyson vacuum sell for $22.76, a Kindle Fire sell for $12.52, and a Kitchenaid Artisan Mixer (the perfect Xmas gift for the little woaman) sell for $4.06!

Well, I am saved from the feeding frenzy that is Zbiddy.  I tried to register and it told me that I was already registered, so I signed in and was told that they never heard of me.  Fate has dealt me a good hand.

I gather they are performing the stage text with the substitution of "Something Good" for "An OrdinaryCouple."" My biggest fear is that it's directed by the vastly overrated Rob Ashford.

Happy Monday, all!

The Kritzerland show last night was such a wonderful evening for us all! Thanks to everyone who sent good wishes and good vibes.

TOD:
I would love to see two young boys have fun singing "Agony"  from INTO THE WOODS.
Other possible songs for the boys... perhaps "All I Care About is Love" from Chicago (or Mr. Cellophane).
"I Met a Girl"  (BELLS ARE RINGING?)

I'll think of more and add later.  :)

Library eBooks.  Barnes and Noble I can do either way but I get them faster if I use my Nook so that is what I use.  For both locations I do most of my searching on the computer.  When the library has something I want I go to my Nook and pull it up from either my wish or hold list to borrow it.  The process for getting books from both locations is really simple, it is connecting that can be an issue at times.

The Act Two edits for ROBERTA have now arrived. I just downloaded them all, and I can't wait to listen to them.

The plumber left me with an entirely new kitchen spigot and faucets. God alone knows what the contraption is called.

I have to go to Toyland tomorrow. I completely forgot!

The only favor I asked of my friends after my shoulder surgery was to take me for a walk.  I think you and Richard need side by side treadmills with a tv & DVD player to watch while you walk.

Agh!!! Not Rob Ashford!!!! In "So Long, Farewell," the Von Trapp kids will be standing with their bodies facing right, while their heads face the audience and they'll slouch in faux Fosse poses and slink sideways. It's the only step he knows. He did it in "Promises," he did it in "How to Succeed." He must be stopped.
